## The Neighborhood
A small, peaceful hamlet south of Rochefort where you will find a cooperative, a hairdresser, a delicatessen/cheese shop/caterer, a pharmacy, and the Halles du Marais market.
A small market is also held every Sunday morning in front of the market, at 3 Avenue de Villeneuve.

## The Village
Saint Agnant boasts a magnificent heritage: a church, fountains, a dovecote, a former train station, and more. It is crossed by the Bridoire Canal, which connects the Charente and Seudre rivers, as well as by the famous Vélodyssée, a former railway line that runs along the Atlantic coast to the Basque coast.
