“Staff were polite but not responsive to customer requests. E.g. The room safe was not working and no one came to fix. The TV also didn't work. It's noisy from loud music playing at the bar, as other reviews noted. It's a basic clean 3 star hotel. Chose it for It's proximity to airport and places to eat.”

Every question I had was answered and I got to learn a lot about the country from the owner herself. She was also nice enough to give me a ride to the airport after my ride share cancelled on me. “The property was beautiful. The room was comfortable and met every need. Enjoyed the pool and the quiet. The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. Host and staff were gracious and helpful. ”

“The room was not as described and when asked if I could get another room the hotel was filled to capacity with other guest. My room was “203” right by the congregating area for other guest so it was hard at times to rest. The room had paint coming off the walls and the walls weren’t up to the ceiling so there was an opening in the walls allowing sound to be heard outside.
