The entire island is crisscrossed by a comprehensive network of bike paths and offers an ideal setting for walks and hikes, between the old salt marshes and the two forest areas of Saint Trojan and Boyardville. Of course, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Fort Boyard from the entire east coast, especially from Saumonards Beach.
Finally, throughout the season, daily boat services will allow you to either spend a day in La Rochelle or take a boat trip between Fort Boyard, Île d’Aix, and Île de Ré from the port of Saint-Denis.
