“This is a bungalow next to a mansion in a residential neighborhood near Holetown in Barbados. The surroundings are beautiful and the house is unusual in that there are no glass windows, just openings that have wooden shutters. This gives you a feeling of living outdoors, but with an air conditioner. Initially we were worried about opening the windows and bugs coming in, but there was no issue with that in time of year that we visited (early March). The cottage was clean, modern and cosy, and had a very relaxing feel. “The privacy & seclusion of this guest house & pool is amazing! Its a perfect little spot with all the amenities you need and more! Owner Mark and Property Manager George were fantastic to deal with and very prompt in responses. Location is great ..close to water and especially to Oistins! “The property was lovely, if a bit harder to get due to road closures and diversions. If secluded and beautiful surroundings is your jam, this is definitely the place. The host was super helpful with directions and delivered fresh fruit for our enjoyment! Some amenities did not work well but I understand repairs are underway. One suggestion- the large porch is lovely but screening it in to discourage mosquitos would enhance guest enjoyment of the wonderful space.”

All the staff where extremely helpful. Most importantly the area is outstanding with a mix of holiday makers and local residence which is lovely. “Lovely cottage on Sugar Hill but description is incorrect with no washer and dryer. Cooking facilities are very limited with only a hob microwave and small counter top over, so cooking for more than 2 would be very difficult. Cleaning etc are good and owner was nearby if needed.”

“The owner, Charles, lived next door and was on the hand to give lots of advice about Db Property and about Barbados generally which was very helpful. Good air-conditioning near Silent in all the bedrooms which was a must. Thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and Hot Tub and the added bonus of a fully equipped semi professional gym. We highly recommend this property.”
