“The food in the hotel restraunt was first class and the restaurant staff were excellent, helpful, courteous and always with a smile. The only downside, and it's not a criticism of the hotel, Guernsey is VERY hilly and the hotel is at the top of a VERY steep hill, and taxis in St Peter's Port are non-existant. The island bus service is very good but don't reley on the timetables pinned to every bus stop, get a timetable from the bus office opposite the bus stands.”

“Staff, accommodation and food were great, though staying for 10 days we virtually had every dish from The Ocean menu! It did get a bit boring! The Mexican restaurant was very noisy and service was poor, and we only went there once because of that. Disappointed that we weren’t told beforehand about the lack of Spa activities due to staff illness.
