The staff were friendly, helpful and just lovely whilst the place itself was ok in a grim area with nothing to do or see. The room itself was horrible which was on the ground floor adapted for disabled people so with a bigger than average size bathroom: very poor lighting so dark with lights on, musty smell which denotes dampness and window not being open most of the time to air the room, sense of not wanting to be there. Next door to the room was a public toilet which was used during the night so got very little sleep due to the banging of the door to the public toilet. Overall, an ok experience due to the friendliness of the staff but not a nice hotel room.
