“Hello, we stayed on Saturday 6th September. Room needs a bit of updating, but apart from that an amazing hotel. The evening meal was just superb, my partner s steak was incredible, and the carrot soup starter is heavenly. Reasonably priced and great location, and the owners took time to welcome us Absolutely 10/10”

“Excellent all round. Such a lovely helpful, warm welcome on arrival and every morning at breakfast, which was delicious. Room was lovely, spacious enough for two and really quiet. 2 min walk to beachfront, 5 min walk to town. Will definitely be going back.”

“The best way to describe the Great Western is with the two words, quaint and quirky! The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion. My room was clearly re-purposed, with the en-suite bolted on, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom fittings were quite new and of a good standard. The furnishings were old-fashioned, but I thought that gave the place its charm and...
