In a village near Carcassonne (12 km) and the Canal du Midi, this vacation rental is located in a farmhouse with an attached garage, opening onto a large, quiet, shaded, and unfenced courtyard. This historic home stays cool in the summer. The owners, who are winemakers, live across the courtyard, and they’ll be happy to share their passion for their craft with you through a “technical” tour of the vineyard, as well as a tasting of their wines—grown on the southern slopes of the Montagne Noire in the Cabardès region and crafted by their son Arnaud. An adjoining, private 25-square-meter terrace with garden furniture is included. The cottage features, on the first floor, a large living room with a seating area equipped with sofas, a TV, and a wood-burning stove, as well as a dining table suitable for the cottage’s capacity, a fully equipped open kitchen, and a separate restroom. Upstairs, there is one bedroom with a 160-bed, a second bedroom with two 90-beds that can be pushed together, and a third bedroom with a 90-bed.
