Welcome to SOL Bright Apt by the Sea, a beautiful 2-bedroom apartment located on the second floor of the Le Soleil residence, right in the heart of Santa Maria, Sal Island, Cape Verde. Practically on the sea, with a terrace offering lovely ocean views, the apartment places you just steps from one of the most beautiful beaches in Africa and the vibrant center of the village.
We are Fabrizio & Brian – Cabo Verde Rentals, a professional rental team with years of experience hosting guests from all over the world on this stunning island. Our goal is simple: to make your stay as smooth, comfortable and memorable as possible.

THE APARTMENT
SOL Bright Apt is a bright, well-equipped 2-bedroom apartment that comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. The living room features a comfortable sofa, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and air conditioning (available at €5/day). Step out onto the terrace and enjoy beautiful sea views – perfect for breakfast, sundowners, or simply soaking up the Cape Verdean sunshine.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size fridge-freezer, electric oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and all necessary crockery, cutlery and cookware. The apartment also has a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer.

A travel cot and high chair are available on request at no extra charge – just let us know at least 24 hours before arrival.

LOCATION
Le Soleil residence sits on Rua Kwame N'Krumah, one of the main streets of Santa Maria, practically on the seafront. Santa Maria Beach – one of the finest in all of Africa, with 4 km of white sand and calm turquoise waters – is literally across the road. The center of the village, with its restaurants, cafés, shops and beach bars, is a short walk away.
Amilcar Cabral International Airport is approximately 18 km away. A taxi costs around €20 for up to 4 people, or €40 for a minivan (5+ people). We can also arrange a private transfer for you – just contact us on WhatsApp +238 595 14 06.
Street parking is available nearby.

For stays of more than 7 nights, a linen and towel change is available once a week on request. A mid-stay cleaning service is available at €30 per session (request at least 24 hours in advance).

Check-in: from 15:00 | Check-out: by 12:00
Self check-in via keybox at the apartment door. Your access code will be sent before arrival via the booking platform. Early check-in may be possible subject to availability – please ask us in advance via WhatsApp. Late check-out is also available on request.
Our office is located at building T05, Djadsal orange – open Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00, Saturday 09:00–13:00.

THINGS TO DO
Santa Maria and Sal Island offer an incredible range of activities for all tastes:
🏖 Santa Maria Beach – right on your doorstep. 4 km of white sand and calm, crystal-clear water, ideal for swimming, snorkelling and relaxing. One of the most beautiful beaches in Africa.
🧂 Pedra de Lume Salt Lake – approx. 20 minutes by car. A stunning volcanic crater salt lake where you can float effortlessly in ultra-salty water, similar to the Dead Sea. Entrance approx. €5/person.
👁 Buracona – The Blue Eye – approx. 25 km north of Santa Maria. A natural volcanic rock pool famous for a breathtaking optical phenomenon: at certain hours, sunlight filters through an opening in the rock and illuminates the water in vivid turquoise blue. Best visited between 11:00 and 13:00. Free entry. Combine with a stop at nearby Palmeira fishing village for fresh fish by the port.

WHERE TO EAT
Santa Maria has a great variety of restaurants within walking distance:
🐟 Marea – excellent fresh fish and seafood on a beautiful seafront terrace. One of the best in Santa Maria. Reservation recommended in high season.
🌊 Palm Beach – right on the beach, relaxed atmosphere, fresh grilled fish and cocktails. Perfect for a sunset dinner.
☕ Leonardo Café – cosy café in the village center, great for breakfast, juices and light meals.
🍕 La Pizza – authentic Italian restaurant, popular with locals and tourists. Great pizzas and pasta.
Local tip: try catchupa, the Cape Verdean national dish – a hearty stew of corn, beans, fish or meat – available in many local restaurants on Rua 1° de Junho.
