“Lovely location. Friendly welcoming staff. Great guest experience from all members of staff. Fabulous food and beverages. Would definitely stay there again. Negatives if I'm being picky: We had to ask for sugar at breakfast every day and butter once. Trivial compared to the overall experience.”

“We had everything we needed - and more if you've forgotten anything - for our short stay. Lovely, spotless room (church view) just like the pictures, with gated parking. Apart from being a pleasant host, Jenny provided excellent, easy to follow check in information and details of places to eat and drink, which were all very close by.”

“Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms. Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that.”

“The Old Mill is a lovely old building that has been well converted to a b&b. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and importantly for us, the windows are easily openable. Bere Regis is a small but well connected village, there are many places of interest within easy reach. ”

“La struttura è immensa, avrebbe giusto bisogno di una rinfrescata. Essendo arrivati tardi e pernottando solo una notte non abbiamo usufruito dei servizi disponibili, che sono tantissimi: spa, bella piscina esterna (credo riscaldata), sala giochi… Il plus: la bellissima la vista dal bar. ”

“Lovely clean and tidy hotel. The rooms look refurbished and were spotless. We had the family room which was bigger than we were expecting. Two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. The staff were pleasant. Parking plentiful. Breakfast (eggs, hash browns, beans, sausages, bacon etc.) was included. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. Perfect for our stay.”

“Great location. Good reception. Great food. Room great apart from view out of window. Could not use pool etc as was not advised there was staff training so not open in the afternoon. Only knew staff training when I had got ready and gone down to a notice on the door to enter. Times of pools opening times did not match online to inside times, so never got to visit.”

“We got a very warm welcome and the hotel is characterful. All the staff were helpful. The food was very good and the breakfast was very enjoyable with quality ingredients. The only thing we didn’t like was that we booked two rooms, one being a twin and of a higher standard than the double. We were offered two of the same lower grade rooms. We were eventually given the second better room which was lovely, but if it hadn’t been available we would have been paying a premium for the lower...
