“The roads were under construction. Our taxi driver had a hard time getting us to the hotel. I like how quiet the hotel was but the road work made it hard getting in and out.”

The vibe is social, fun, and unapologetically lively. The beach is more for the views than swimming, but the pool makes up for it. Fair warning: it gets loud at night, so grab your earplugs from the front...

“The hotel is very nice, with a nice yard, a nice friendly dog, and it is close to the city centre. The room was spacious and very clean; the shower with good pressure. They can send you a taxi to the bus station for only 5 Soles. Ask for the restaurant San Isidro if you want to go out for dinner. The breakfast was good but easily improvable i.e. with more bread and different types of tea. We could leave our luggage there for free after the check out to go on an excursion. On the negative side...
