“⭐⭐⭐⭐4.5/5 Stars – A Beautiful Place to Slow Down After a 12-day high-energy road trip, we specifically chose Atlantis Oceanfront Inn because we wanted a peaceful place to rest and recharge. It was exactly what we needed. My first recommendation is to arrive during daylight hours if possible. The property and coastline are gorgeous, and it helps you get oriented in Gloucester before dark. Once we settled in, we fell in love with the location. The oceanfront balcony was the star of the stay....

“Hard mattress”

“Small hotel on the main road, close to the beach. The building is rather old, so the floors are a bit saggy...no big deal. The hotel has adequate parking. The owner is very nice and accommodating. The place is clean. It is not fancy...it is basic. The mattresses on the bed seem to be new, but they sagged...a lot. I wouldn't want to sleep on them more than a couple nights. The owner is a prolific smoker and even though the rooms are non-smoking, the room we stayed in had that stale...

“The location is fantastic. It is dog friendly which is wonderful. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. Plenty of parking for each room. It met my 1 overnight need but what I thought could be better are room cleanliness - it was dusty and had funky smell (maybe from the a/c), bathroom was very clean, it’s a very simple basic room with no thrills. “Beautiful porch, overlooking the north end of the beach, with tables & chairs for guests. Two buildings, we stayed in the back 3 floor walk up. The rooms were clean & well kept with balcony & chairs outside your door. Motel staff was friendly & helpful. We will return.”
