We use embassy suites for a lot of our family travel when available and my in laws use it exclusively which is why we were so shocked by the poor service we received at this one. We had better service at à la Quinta the next night and a comfort suites the following night than we had here. The front desk girl was rude and clearly wanted to do the bare minimum getting frustrated when we asked her to come up with a solution for our room not being as described. We have a small child with us and requested the 2 room suite only to show up and there’s an open hallway between the rooms which does nothing for sound or light prevention. We asked for something to block it after we were told the couldn’t move us to another room (which was a lie as the room we were originally assigned wasn’t ready when we arrived as it was being cleaned so they already had moved us once), the head Maintnence man we finally convinced the girl to call down was able to assist and found a mattress we could cover the doorway with which helped. We are thankful for him and we had AMAZING service at the restaurant . There were high points of the trip but that initial experience made us not choose embassy the rest of our travels. It really soured us on the whole brand that someone that rude and unhelpful would be put at the front desk.
