  • Best Location, spacious home.
    Brand new furniture. Master suite with attached bathroom and walk in closet. 3 additional bedrooms, hallway bathroom, dedicated office space, and new washer/dryer. One car garage with driveway.
    10 minutes to Snowbird and Alta in Little Cottonwood Canyon. 20 minutes to Brighton and Solitude. Walking distance to Smiths grocery store, McDonalds, Park, Hospital. Very close to Wal-mart, Malls, and Soccer Stadium. Very nice newly remodeled bathrooms, Nest thermostat, full kitchen, and living room with TV, Wifi, and all amenities you need for a home like stay.
    There is a basement apartment completely separate with its own entrance that is also listed on VRBO.

Nice place with a lot of rooms for a big crowd

We enjoyed our stay. Every one got their own room and there is plenty storage space. Close to shops too.

A good place to stay

Very spacious house with 4 beds/2 bath. Beds were comfortable and baths were good sized and clean (great walk-in shower in one). Living room is a little small for a big group, but there are other spaces and the kitchen is a good size. Host is responsive and flexible. Neighborhood is mostly quiet (a few dogs) and we recommend Ryan's Bagel Shop, just 3 blocks away.

Not as advertised

It was less expensive than other places. However, 1. Misleading: You do not have the entire home. The basement is rented. 2. Night 1. The temp was set to 65. I reset it to 72, but, after a few minutes, it would revert to 65. Since the thermostat is in the middle of the house, the rooms got very cold. I contacted the mgr the next morning. He argued with me a bit about using a space heater. However, there was only 1 and we had 2 rooms occupied. He limited the thermostat to 72. That is inappropriate. 3. Night 2. A very strong cooking smell came from the basement apartment. A man and woman were angrily and loudly arguing. There was banging of something. I almost called the police. I contacted the mgr, and the noise stopped. He said it’s “never happened before” and they were “playing cards.” There were only 2 voices. They were fighting. 4. Amateur plumbing and electric work. An electric cover was missing on a quad outlet next to the kitchen sink.5. The master bathroom faucets were put in backwards, making the sink difficult to use. 6. The kitchen sink faucet handle is loose and must be played with to get it to work. 7. The front bathroom toilet was loose at the floor. Those often leak. The mgr contacted me before we arrived stating it was loose and he would send someone over. No one ever came. 8. There was a locked door, I believe went to the stairs down to the basement. On day 3, the light went on behind the door. I was concerned someone had been in our space.

Large Main Floor Home Apartment

Comfortable rental apartment with plenty of room for our group of 4 adults. Good access to ski resorts. Living room seats 5, dining room table seats 4 plus 3 bar seats at kitchen counter. Appliances worked fine. Host is very responsive. No noise issues with renters in downstairs apartment. Be prepared to provide your own salt/pepper - recommend checking the cabinets before you go food shopping..

A good value for the money, but with a caveat

We generally liked the house, and we got a great value for our money with the amount of space we had. However, there is a separate apartment in the basement underneath the main level. This fact was not evident from the VRBO listing. The current long-term renters below us were smoking inside. The cigarette smoke was coming up the ventilation to us. Our host did his best to resolve the situation, but it just was not possible in a short amount of time. We ran open air through the house and figured out how to cope with it. Otherwise, the place was comfortable and convenient to everything.

Nice host and location

Stayed for two weeks, overall it was great. Easy access to ikon destinations. The host is very nice and got all things that we need. Would recommend.

Spacious place in great location!

This place is so much bigger than appears in the photos. Perfect for our ski group of two couples and two singles. Owner was communicative and we didn't want for anything. Would stay here again!
