“Had a brilliant few nights at The Weary Friar. We stayed in The Friar’s Rest, which is a separate cottage just next to the pub. Really peaceful and quiet — perfect for switching off. The cottage was spotless, well looked after, and had everything we needed, including a proper kitchen (though we mostly ate at the pub!). Breakfast was great every morning — decent portions and really good quality. We had dinner there a couple of times as well — can highly recommend the fish and chips. The pub...

“We had a lovely stay at this pretty and comfortable pod. Jean was very helpful and friendly and pod was very well equipped and laid out. No wasted space but plenty of room. Great shower, oodles of hot water and plenty of power points. Wi-Fi excellent and plenty of cosy touches. Thoroughly recommend for those who want a property that’s tucked away but the host is at the farmhouse nearby. We will be back! Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay and cuddles with your dogs!”
