Finding the property:
The property is on the seafront road called Marine Parade on the junction with Diamond Street. It is part of the large striking red brick building that houses The Marine public house; and is a few metres from the Saltburn Cliff Tramway that takes you to the Pier.
Sea Forever Oceanfront Holiday Home is on the beachfront upper promenade known as Marine Parade. It’s part of the large red brick building built in 1855 that includes The Marine Pub, and it is just over the road from the beach paths and the famous beach tramway lift. The postcode is TS12 1DZ. If you arrive by train or bus, walk via the Sainsbury Supermarket and down Diamond Street towards the seashore, you’ll see the large red brick building at the bottom of the street on the right-hand side. When you arrive at the upper promenade known as Marine Parade, the property is immediately on your right-hand side. It has hedges surrounding its garden, and a timber garden gate with the property name on it. Arriving by car is really easy. Follow signs for Saltburn, and then ‘seafront or tramway’ when you arrive in the town. Better still follow your Satnav to TS12 1DZ. You’ll arrive on the upper promenade known as Marine Parade. You’ll see the tramway to the beach and then just opposite there is the Marine Pub. Looking at the pub from the sea, the property is part of the same red brick building on the right-hand side. It has hedges surrounding its garden, and a timber garden gate with the property name on it. You can park anywhere that there is space on Marine Parade, on Diamond Street, or on any other close by street. On-street parking is free in Saltburn. When you arrive at the timber gate, open and follow the path to the front terrace steps and the double white entrance doors. The key box for Sea Forever Oceanfront Holiday Home is on the left-hand door. We will email you the keypad code for your key box closer to your check-in. There are 2 sets of keys inside the box, both giving you access to the property front door and to your own holiday home. When inside the property, the lighting in the hallway and stairwells is automated for your convenience. Sea Forever Oceanfront Holiday Home’s front door is directly in front of you on ground floor level. It has an house sign on the door. This is your holiday home for your stay. If you take one flight of stairs from the property’s main entrance hall, you’ll see a rear stairwell. This leads to a back door that opens into a rear courtyard where you will find the bins and recycling for the property, and here you can also store bikes, water sports equipment etc. The gate at the rear of the courtyard has a lock with a key in it. Feel free to use this rear gate, but please keep it locked from the inside and leave the key in the lock.
~ Garden with secure permitter and gate for dogs and children ~ Gargen has lots of seating and a fire pit with fire log (please bring more fuel with you) ~ The is a dining bench and BBQ with self-lighting coal bag (please bring more coals with you) ~ Terrace at the entrance to the building is for exclusive use by guests of Sea Forever Oceanfront Holiday Home. ~ Inner Hallway with coat rack, and boot store ~ Pool table ~ Sea View Lounge Space with 3 leather sofas, loads of cushions, binoculars and telescope to enjoy the picture window views of the parade, 8-mile beach and seascape. There is a smart TV and DVD player. ~ Dining space with marble top table and faux leather chairs ~ Kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, gas oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer. ~ Kitchen has dishwasher tabs, washing capsules, fairy liquid, hand wash, hand towel, tea towel, dishcloth, sink brush, extra bin bags. ~ Bedroom 1 (The Master Bedroom) has a sumptuous super king-sized bed on a raised platform with bay window outlook to the promenade as sea, with super king duvet, 4 pillows, lots of cushions, and 4 bath towels. ~ Bedroom 1 also has 2 single beds on the lower platform of the room, each having double size duvet, 2 pillows, cushions and 2 bath towels. ~ Bedroom 1 also has a fold down bed that can be located anywhere in the home. It is provided ready to dress with linen, duvet, and pillows. ~ Bedroom 1 en-suite has walk in shower with shower gel, basin with mirror and hand wash, toilet with 3 good toilet rolls. ~ Bedroom 2 has a sumptuous super king size bed with 4 pillows, lots of cushions, and 4 bath towels. ~ Bedroom 2 also has a single bed with single duvet, 2 pillows, cushions and 2 bath towels. ~ House Bathroom has a good-sized bath with shower fitting, and shower gel, basin with mirror and hand wash, toilet with 3 good toilet rolls. ~ In the utility cupboards you will find an ironing board, iron, travel cot, highchair, hoover, mop and bucket, and clothes airer. ~ Rear courtyard with external bins and recycling
Sea Forever Oceanfront Holiday Home is located on the seafront, a few steps to the popular Marine Parade Pub, a short walk to the centre of town, and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors. Saltburn Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London. There are plenty of bus routes through Saltburn. Hop on the Arriva North East route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay and Whitby. The Moorsbus route has drop offs at Newton Under Roseberry, Great Ayton, Stokesley and Helmsley. The property is on the seafront road called Marine Parade. It is part of the large striking red brick building that houses The Marine public house; and is a few meters from the iconic Victorian Saltburn Cliff Tramway that takes you to the Amusement Pier and lower promenade attractions. On foot, the property is a short walk from the train station and town centre.
Parking is free in Saltburn unless you use the pay and display car parks. You can park in any available space on Marine Parade and on the numerous streets leading up to the town centre, for free.
~ Access to the property is via a few stone steps to the front door. ~ If guests want to use the BBQ and fire pit, they should bring fuel to the property. ~ Guests are welcome to have food delivered to the property. ~ This is the boyhood home of rock star David Coverdale (Whitesnake and Deep Purple)
