Waterfront Home with Panoramic Views in Black Dog Harbor, Salvo, NC

Come stay at this stunning waterfront home in Black Dog Harbor, Salvo, NC! This beautiful home features panoramic views of the Pamlico Sound, just a short walk or bike ride from the beach. The home is equipped with an elevator, brand new furnishings and modern amenities, perfect for a relaxing vacation.

The spacious home can accommodate up to 10 guests (maximum of 8 adults) and features five bedrooms, four king size bedroom suites with attached bathrooms, plus one bunk room/media room with a twin over queen bunk bed. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a spacious dining and living room with plenty of space to relax and entertain. The pool area includes an outdoor entertainment area with a refrigerator and ice maker.

The home is located in the heart of Black Dog Harbor, which offers a variety of amenities, including a fishing pier, a gazebo, cornhole, basketball hoop and a boat ramp. You can also bring your own boat or jet skies. After a day of exploring, relax on the expansive decks overlooking the sound or by the pool and enjoy spectacular sunsets. Great location if you like to adventure out with your 4x4, close to NC ORV Ramps where you can also drive on the beach with a 4x4 permit.

Linens and bath towels are provided with linen fee. Pool heat is available for an additional charge of $100 per night.

There is one security camera at this property. It is in the car parking area facing the street. It is used for security purposes only.

The positives: Beautiful house and nicely decorated. Spotless, awesome views and very quiet. Communication with property managers was great. Ice machine broke and was fixed within a couple of hours. The negatives: A list of "Do not do" with the warning that "people will be watching". 5:00pm check in and 9:00am check out. 1,500 security deposit (which we did get back) and a charcoal grill of the type you'd find at a state park. Not sure if the grill is an HOA issue, but not adequate for a house that sleep 10 people.

Beautiful Home Skimpy supplies

This home is beautiful and new and very clean. The location on the sound is wonderful, the pool is small but nice. The hook game underneath and balconies were lovely. There were plenty of dishes and utensils and cookware. What was disappointing was our welcome e-mail, it reads like a list of grievances of every guest that has ever done anything wrong. While the home itself is fantastic, these beds are extremely firm and uncomfortable, the sheets were cheap polyester microfiber, it was not comfortable sleeping here. You get one set of bath towels per person so if you're a woman who uses a second towel to dry your hair, there won't be one. Twice during our stay the pool lady parked in our driveway blocking our spot, when we reached out to the owner they didn't seem overly concerned, as obviously it happened a second time. The pool lady threw chemicals into the shallow end and my husband slipped and fell as the steps were slick with chemicals, chemicals should always be applied to the deep end near the filter. The owners don't even start you with a full roll of toilet paper and there are no extras, we didn't even have a full roll of paper towels. For what this place cost, it was disappointing, we've stayed at cheaper places and had more supplies. Check out is at 9 a.m. which is crazy early & check in is not until 5 p.m. The list of rules was a lot and they imply that they are there watching you to ensure you follow them. It was not welcoming in the least.

Had my family come down to Hatteras for my birthday. The house was a perfect place to relax by the pool after the beach. Catch incredible sunsets over the sound while watching kite boarders doing their late day downwinders.

Beautiful home

My family and I just got back from a wonderful stay here in Knot 4 Sail, Black Dog Harbor. It was absolutely perfect, this home is exactly as it looks in the pictures and some. Very clean and had everything we needed. The property manager was such a pleasure to work with and could not be more accommodating. The location was fantastic, my 13 yr old and 11 year olds loved the Sound, spent hours fishing and kayaking. Every night we would head to the deck to watch the most amazing sunsets! The pool was perfect too. Rodante Pier is close, we went to Avon for dinner and saw folks Shark fishing and spent a day in Nags Head, race tracks and Adventure Park. The neighborhood is small and quiet and the beach is nearby. We can’t wait to come back to Knot 4 Sail, Black Dog Harbor!!!
