This condo was absolutely filthy. There are a lot stairs to walk down to get to the backyard entrance. When we arrived, we noticed immediately that the bed did not have a fitted sheet - just a mattress cover and a flat sheet. The unit was not very clean. I immediately called the contact number and was told to contact the host directly about a fitted sheet. I asked about canceling and getting a refund and she could not authorize that. I then called the host. He did not know what a fitted sheet was. It was dark and raining so, we decided to stay one night and make the best of it. The longer we were there, the more we discovered: the bedding was all stained, the drawers were full of junk, the kitchen had very few utensils and cookware, the cupboards were dirty, the tub was light brown (dirty) with white streaks where the water ran down, the bathroom floor was dirty, on and on. It was clear no one had cleaned the unit. After 8pm we received an email saying if we left right then, we could get a 50% refund. I replied that it was too late to find another place, that we were willing to pay for one night and would be out of the unit before 7am. It took over 24 hours to receive a reply that the host agreed to refund the remaining nights. I had contacted them multiple times by then as well as having had to book other accommodations last minute. Thankfully we found a very nice place to stay! I would not recommend this rental or working with Red Awning services. It was terrible!
