Good place if budget is top of mind. Close to the state beach (can walk there), and stuff for the family to do (pickleball, mini golf, cornhole, swimming pool, etc). Place was pretty run down. Our shower door wouldn’t close, pieces of drywall trim were missing, and the a/c was pretty old and couldn’t keep up with the humidity. We (family of 5) stayed 5 nights, and the cleaning service only came once. They didn’t clean; they just changed bedding and brought towels. There was construction outside our room all day, jackhammering was pretty noisy and not relaxing. Staff was pretty friendly, which helps cuz you have to ask them for a lot…garbage bags, towels, check out equipment for activities, etc. Lobby had decent keurig coffee. It had a toaster, a microwave, and some dishes, enough for us to have basic cereal, sandwiches, bagels.
I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless I was really trying to minimize expenses.
But…HIGHLY RECOMMEND the restaurant on site. The food was great (we ate there 3 times!), and by far the best spicy margaritas on the planet!
