“The lodge was perfect for my motorcycle trip to Julian. Perfect place to wind down after a long day of riding in the area. If you are not a social person it might not be the place for you, because all common areas are to be shared. (Living room, kitchen, deck). But if you are passing through and wand a place with incredible views, peace, quiet and good coffee in the morning, this place is great. Hickers, Moto Riders, Cyclists. Feels like the right vibe.”

“Disappointed with the lack of aesthetics at the pool and it was filthy. Lots of floating dead bees, mosquitos, and other insects. Also, the water spigot at our site was dispensing brown water. And our site had a sewer lid where you can smell the stench”

“Was somewhat seedy. Were some sketchy folks who seemed to be living there. We were only there one night and just needed a place to sleep (came in late and left early). It was OK for this but we definitely felt a need to hurry from our car to the room and then again hurry out when we left.”

“Clean, quiet, comfortable setting. Location is perfect, outside of Santee, but still close enough for shopping. Quick easy access to parking, enough parking slots. Staff were friendly.”
