The hosts are very welcoming. The location was perfect for our needs. I think it is important to note that it is very “no frills”. You should just be very aware of that. It is only for three people but there were just a few dishes and glasses, one kitchen towel, etc. It was comfortable though. Also, being older I am very aware of any safety issues and the gate entrance and entrance to the house I felt were tripping issues.

The apartment was immaculately kept. Jane was exceptional in communicating. She responded immediately to any inquiries, and was so pleasant throughout our stay. Parking was fine, and the kitchen had all of the essentials. Her list of recommendations and other info in her resource book was welcomed. I would stay again.

We so enjoyed our week here. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet. It’s only a few blocks, and an easy walk, from almost any kind of restaurant you could want. We were able to Lyft to any part of the city within minutes. Jane and Ping are gracious hosts who answered all our questions within minutes. We would definitely stay in their cozy apartment again.

Everything was great! Location is fantastic, so many great restaurants in walking distance. The house was clean and well furnished. Full kitchen, bed was comfortable, has everything you need. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in town.

When we arrived, our host was not present, and when we attempted to turn on the AC, it would not cool down. The host eventually arrived and showed us how to operate the ACWritten instructions would have helped . Also, the water temp in the shower was very difficult to adjust

Great location within walking distance to coffee shops, donuts, restaurants and the waterfront. We also were able to walk to Eppig Brewing. The bed was very comfortable. The AC worked well, and we appreciated the standing fan that we used to move the air. The backyard patio was a great place to have coffee in the morning. Jane was very easy to work with. We would stay here again.

Clean and quiet! A a nice outdoor space!

We really enjoyed the property! Very clean and very quiet. The sleeper sofa was also very comfortable. Great central location if you want to go to La Jolla or to the airport or downtown San Diego.Everything you’ll need is in the kitchen including: pots, pans, knives, plates, toaster, rice, maker, etc.!We will definitely stay there in the future if we come back to San Diego!The owners are very easy to work with and very nice!

Great location

This apartment is in a quiet neighborhood yet close to restaurants and the marina. Downtown San Diego is a very short distance. I felt very safe and Jane made sure I had everything I needed. Very comfortable bed and large walk in closet. I would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant Stay in Point Loma

As stated in other reviews, the apartment is well maintained and sparkling clean. It is obvious the owner, who lives upstairs, is well invested in their guest’s experience. Although this is a basement apartment, there is plenty of natural light. There are no stairs to the apartment, which may be a plus to any older folks, such as myself.Communication with the owner was excellent.

Extremely pleased!

Wow! We stayed 8 nights in Jane's immaculate and lovely home overlooking downtown. Communication was smooth beforehand and we were comfortable arriving after dark to the beautiful neighborhood. Jane came down the stairs to greet us warmly and show us where the lights were as we had been driving all day. The next morning we discovered the location is near shops, restaurants and the marina. We could walk to everything! We visited Carrillo National Monument, Sea World and Sunset Cliffs which are minutes away. We parked in the driveway, though street parking was always available. Going in and out was easy using private entrance behind a gate. Jane was kind, knowledgeable of the area and eager to help. The kitchen has everything you could need as we cooked a few nights. The bed and linens and towels are top-notch. You feel well taken care of as Jane has everything covered. There are even magazines and books, if you have time. The television works great and offers Netflix and the local channels. I cannot imagine a nicer place to stay. Yellow roses were blooming out our door each day. Jane even gave us some fruit from her garden to add to our morning yogurt. Thank you for a restful vacation. We will be back!

Comfortable and very clean

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood and very close to the marina. We booked this property for three nights and enjoyed the accommodations very much. The owner reached out before our trip to find out if there is anything specific we needed. We informed her about our preferences and they were both met. I highly recommend this property for a stay when people are traveling for the purpose of spending time in San Diego within walking distance or a short drive to the marina.
