Questo bungalow sulla spiaggia, luminoso e arioso, sussurra "estate" tutto l'anno ed è a pochi passi da spiagge, negozi, ristoranti e mercato settimanale dei contadini. La tua casa lontano da casa si presta a una visita rilassante e divertente, a una vacanza oa un soggiorno prolungato nella giovane e energica città di San Diego.

Questa casa ha un tocco da designer, un'intelligente progettazione dello spazio, una luce abbondante ed è arredata con gusto - offre tutti gli elementi della classica vita costiera, dentro e fuori. Communication with host couldn't have been better. Great neighborhood location in Ocean Beach. Loved the backyard and watching the hummingbirds. If I was going to get in the weeds about anything, the furniture in the living room could be a little better, but we are extra cautious because of my husband and his back surgery history. Couch was fine - but when we had 3 people there, no one wanted to sit in the red chair. The house was cute, clean and furniture aside, I would have a hard time not picking the same place if I return to San Diego. I will add that having spices, some cooking oil, coffee, and coffee filters - along with some basic toiletries in the bathroom is a much appreciated touch. Makes all the difference in my opinion to have a few things to get started with.

We will be recommending this cottage to anyone traveling to San Diego! Exactly as pictured…absolutely darling, perfectly appointed, great for a family of four. Gardens are simply beautiful. Quiet and safe neighborhood, easy street parking. Walking distance to amazing restaurants, coffee shops and markets - and to the beach. Beds were SO comfortable. We fell in love with Ocean Beach! Such a great vibe and tons of incredible restaurants and cute shops (much more chill and neighborhoody than Pacific Beach and Mission Beach in our opinion). Great communication with the host. Do not hesitate to book!! We will be back!

Overall, we had a nice stay. The house was cute, exactly as pictured, and very clean when we arrived. The private backyard was lovely, and the gardening around the property was beautiful and clearly well maintained. The home had everything we needed for our stay and felt comfortable and well cared for. The property manager was excellent with communication and very responsive. When the water filter needed to be changed, they came by the next morning to replace it, which we really appreciated. The location is in a quiet area and about a 15-minute walk to both the ocean and the town area. One thing to know is that the unit is located behind another house, so it can be a little harder to find at first—you have to go through the gate and walk back to the unit behind the front house.Parking can be challenging since it is street parking only. If you don’t arrive at the right time, you may need to park a block or more away. This could be difficult for elderly or handicapped individuals. The house also does not have air conditioning. We visited in the “winter,” so it wasn’t an issue for us because the evenings were cool and there was a nice breeze, and there are plenty of fans in the house. The listing photos showed a fire pit in the backyard, but there was not one during our stay, I know he had stated he had to remove the grill for Insurance so I assume the pit as well. Overall, it’s a great little house to stay in—clean, charming, and with a very responsive host.

Ocean Beach was a great beach town. Host went above and beyond for us. Amazing hospitality! Very clean House, made us feel at home! We loved the small town businesses all within a short walk from the Cottage. We also had a sweet neighborhood cat that visited us. Took plenty of photos but it wouldn’t let us add them because they exceeded the size limit.

Home at the Beach!

Rodney’s sweet cottage is clean, comfortable, and has all the amenities to feel at home. We stayed 6 days while my son played baseball at Point Loma University. During our stay we enjoyed walks to the beach, cozy evenings at “home” in the back patio, naps in the hammock and breakfast on the front porch surrounded by butterflies and hummingbirds. Thank you, Rodney, for your warm welcome and communication.

This tastefully decorated charming cottage was just as depicted in the listing (minus firepit in backyard). Kitchen is small but well stocked with good quality cookware and appliances. Street parking was usually easy to come by right in front of house. Drive to everything we wanted to see was easy and usually took 15-20 minutes. Walking distance to fun restaurants and ocean views. Front and rear gardens are beautiful. Beds were comfortable and cotton sheets especially nice. Things to be aware of: houses are close together and occasionally there was noise from neighbors (and to be fair they probably heard us talking too!). Like much of San Diego the house is on a flight path. Planes fly overhead all day but you sort of get used to it. House not suitable for anyone handicapped. Steps to get in and small bath and close quarters.

This cute little cottage was so wonderful. Our family of four really enjoyed it. It is set up so well and so comfortable we come back and stay there again. Our host Rodney was very responsive wonderful to work. He answered our questions and gave us additional information that helped us with our stay like restaurants and local activities. A fun family spring break!!

We loved the location of Rodney’s house! We were able to so easily walk to the beach and go to great reataurants. Plus the other attractiions that interested us like the Zoo and Sea World were a quick drive away. The landscaping was all so beautiful!

Fabulous house!!

My daughter and her family stayed here over Christmas and loved it, so I knew I would be happy there. It was well equipped, quiet, and easy to find parking on the street. It was also spotlessly clean.

Cozy Ocean cottage

It was everything described by others. Darling and close to beautiful ocean views and sunsets. We enjoyed coffee and quiet time in the garden in the mornings. The cottage is darling and well equipped with all we needed. We had four adult women all family and were very comfortable.

Garden Cottage was excellent

Our stay at the Garden Cottage was a delight. It’s in a beautiful, quiet, walkable neighbourhood with easy street parking. The cottage was spotless, charmingly decorated and outfitted with new appliances, comfortable beds and everything you need to feel like you’re in a home-away-from-home. And you’re close to the stunning Sunset Cliffs!Rodney went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. His communications were prompt and informative complete with tips on local eateries and sights. You feel like you’re conversing with a real person who cares about his guests and his cottage. Cozy Garden Cottage

The Garden Cottage is set back in a peaceful garden teaming with hummingbirds and pollinators. We enjoyed having meals on the deck overlooking the garden and relaxing on the backyard patio. A great spot for spending time with family. Rodney was a perfect host who went out of his way to assure our stay was enjoyable!

Thanksgiving Trip

We visited our son who lived in the neighborhood. Everything is in walking distance. This cottage was comfortable private and quiet. The host was very responsive to our requests. I am planning to stay again.
