This was the perfect vacation rental with a fairly ideal kitchen to prepare the desserts for our daughter's wedding. We transported all of our own supplies to prepare the desserts, though the kitchen did have decent supplies. We transported 3 frozen cakes and 20 frozen dozen cookie dough balls from home. Since the fridge was side by side, we had to get creative to get the frozen desserts into the freezer. Though the oven was gas, it ran true to temperature. We baked 2 dozen cupcakes, one cake, and Japanese Chex Mix. They all took longer to bake than in our home electric oven. We LOVED the counter space! One section of the counter was dedicated to making frosting with our KitchenAid. Another section of counter was used to assemble and decorate 4 cakes. We were afraid they wouldn't fit in the fridge boxed but we got them all in: 8", 10" 12", and 14"! There was still counter space to do other things! It had plenty of space in the living room to store all of the wedding decoration supplies and the boxes of cake making and decorating supplies. The place felt clean. This vacation rental was located very close to the wedding venue at Liberty Station. There is a 2 car garage.We knew that the airport was close by and expected to hear the airplanes. This place lacks outlets! And it could use more towel racks/hooks in the bathroom.
