La Casita è una casa privata indipendente con aria condizionata, può ospitare comodamente da 5 a 6 persone, una cucina completa che include una lavatrice / asciugatrice, un cortile / ponte privato recintato. E sì! Parcheggio privato anche. L'OB Casita è un ottimo posto per riposare, fare una doccia e rilassarsi dopo una giornata piena di divertimento a San Diego. Il soggiorno e la camera da letto principale dispongono di Smart TV con DirecTV (HBO / Showtime). Hai anche la possibilità di accedere a Netflix, Hulu e altre app TV. Lenzuola e un sacco di asciugamani sono forniti compresi teli da mare.
OB Casita si trova a pochi isolati da Newport Avenue dove ci sono ottimi ristoranti, birrai, caffetterie, antiquariato, negozi di artigianato e altro ancora. Da non perdere Mercoledì OB Market Day su Newport Avenue. È il miglior mercato degli agricoltori di San Diego con prodotti biologici locali, artigiani, musica, cibo e altro ancora. Siamo a pochi minuti da Sea World e 20 minuti da tutte le principali attrazioni di San Diego: Gas lamp District, San Diego Zoo, Old Town, Balboa Park e San Diego International Airport. 2 ore a Disneyland e 1 ora a Legoland.

A+ Host / Property

Wonderful host and property. The entire process was very smooth. The location is right next to the beaches and Sunset Cliffs. It is within walking distance to mini marts and Krysp grocery store. The property had a very private back yard/deck with a couple of chairs to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. You can spend a whole vacation just walking around Ocean Beach and enjoying the sights and restaurants. I highly recommend this rental.

Cute Casita Near Santa Cruz Cove and Ocean Beach

My husband and adult son stayed in this casita July 22-25, 2024. It was small but worked for the 3 of us. It was clean and had beach towels and chairs to use. Plenty of bath towels and shampoo, soap, etc. I loved the washer/dryer so we didn't have to come home with dirty clothes. I brought my own laundry sheets. The main drag of restaurants was a few short blocks away and we could walk to the beach. You are in the flight path so planes could be heard taking off. It didn't bother me but bugged my husband. While outside on patio, we had to stop talking and wait for planes to pass. On the flip side, it only took 15 minutes to get to airport with no interstate driving. There was one A/C unit so the bedrooms were a bit warm but they cooled down eventually. Ceiling fans helped. I know the hot 90 degree temps are not normal. For our short stay, this place was perfect for the 3 of us!

Ocean Beach Haven

We had a wonderful stay at Dora’s property. The location was spectacular, so close to the beach and walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops on Newport Ave. The casita is extremely well-equipped and had everything we needed. The home was clean and comfortable, quiet and inviting. Dora was also exceptionally kind and accommodating. She allowed us an early check-in and a late check-out and was fully responsive throughout. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to others without hesitation. Thank you!!

Great spot in Ocean Beach

This little place was big on charm and amenities. The location is just a few blocks from Ocean Beach and the pier there. It’s very private considering it’s a carriage house in the backyard of another house. The parking space was great because parking in the area is tricky. It was close to the big attractions (10 mins to SeaWorld and 20mins to SD Zoo and Balboa park) It was clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay including boogie boards and other beach toys as well as everything we needed for the kitchen etc. It was perfect for our short stay with our family of four.

Cozy and great location

This was an extra cozy space. It worked well for our family (we have two young kids that loved being able to sleep on the bunk beds). We didn't spend much time at the Casita, as we were off doing ocean adventures. It may have been a little too small for a group of adults to stay if you planned on spending any amount of time at "home base" during your stay. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, it seemed, but there isn't much space to be able to cook. However, the Casita is in such a great location for walking to fabulous restaurants and grocery store. We were also able to walk just up the street to see the sunset over the ocean and do a morning tide pool walk to the beach. This was a fabulous home base for the few days we spent in San Diego.

Awesome stay, host and location

We are very happy with our experience. Dora was very responsive and helpful. Checkin and checkout was easy and flexible. Lots of towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and sand toys to use. Washer and dryer was very convenient. Two minute walk to a great little beach and 5 to 10 minute walk to restaurants, shops, groceries, main beach and pier. Very helpful to have a dedicated parking spot. Definitely hope to stay there again.

Small, quiet casita. Not very loud location. It is .5 block from the beach but its not a relax beach. Pretty much just to look at, its all rocks and water no beach . You have to walk at least 10 mimutes to the shops and actually beach .

Felt like i was in the center of everything we wanted to see and do in San Diego. Great for a small family. Exceptionally clean. Great communication with host. They were gracious in supplying everything they expected their renters to need, which was so so helpful! In the good-to-know category: this isn't the spot for you if you want to sleep late, rely on wifi, or have a large vehicle.

Casita Rico is a very reasonably priced property near the beach, restaurants and stores. We had absolutely no issues with the location or property. It was quiet and sitting out on the little deck in the morning and evenings was something that I enjoyed. The only things we would have changed is to add a door mat and getting bigger coffee cups! I loved having the washer and dryer right there so that I could do some washing before we had to catch our flight home. The neighborhood itself is easy to walk with lots of options. There are great cocktails to try at Raglan's just down the block. If a day of pampering is in order - Therapie Day Spa is also a short walking trip away. We were there during the street fair/chili cook-off. That was a day well spent with tasting and voting on the chili cook-off entrants, listening to the bands and browsing the merchant tents.

Perfect!

We were very pleased with this place and with the host - Dora. She was readily available to answer questions. The location was perfect, about a block from the water and a few blocks from all kinds of restaurants. There was off street parking although we didn’t use it, we used Lyft to get around. The place itself was just enough, two bedrooms with comfortable beds, eating area, kitchen and bathroom. I would definitely recommend this casita if you are wanting to be in the Ocean Beach area.
