Experience the ideal blend of work, play, and relaxation at our newly renovated (Nov’24) oceanside apartment conveniently located near beach hikes, shopping, dining and highways for easy SF/Silicon Valley access. Have fun in entertainment game room boasting an 85" TV, bar, pool table, shuffleboard and arcade machines. Enjoy spacious backyard featuring a hot tub, plus multiple IG-ready spots surrounded by lush greenery and crashing waves. The high-speed WiFi will keep you connected in style.
The space
The house has 2 beautifully furnished bedrooms, 1 bathroom, modern kitchen, an open living room, game room and private backyard with patio. The house is fully equipped with a modern stove, refrigerator, microwave, washer and dryer.

Guest access
Guests have access to the lower unit in the building and all common outdoor and entertainment amenities. This unit is located on the ground floor of the building, with direct entry from the shared fenced backyard.
Please feel free to make use of the common areas, including the backyard, game room and laundry equipment (both have exterior access). Note that we also have another rental listing located on the upper levels of the property; each unit has its own separate entrance into a unit from the shared backyard. You may occasionally interact with the other guests during your stay if using the common areas.
Shared hot tub usage guidelines: To ensure all our guests have an enjoyable and relaxing experience, we kindly request adherence to the following guidelines: 1. Timed Usage: Each group of guests is kindly requested to limit their hot tub usage to 2 hours per session. This helps ensure all guests have fair access and allows the hot tub to maintain optimal conditions. 2. Cleanliness: Kindly shower before entering the hot tub to maintain its cleanliness. Please do not bring any food or drinks in glass containers into the hot tub area. 3. Quiet Hours: The hot tub is available for use between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. We ask that you keep noise to a minimum, especially during late evening hours, to respect neighbors and other guests' comfort.
It's generally recommended to limit individual hot tub sessions to 15-20 minutes at a time. Prolonged exposure can lead to dehydration, overheating, and skin irritation. Please drink plenty of water before and after using the hot tub to stay hydrated. If you have heart conditions, are pregnant, or prone to seizures, it's best to consult with a healthcare provider before using a hot tub.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in making the shared hot tub a pleasant experience for everyone.
Other things to note
Our charming home was built 50 years ago and has recently undergone renovations to enhance your comfort and experience, including installation of new multi-layer sound proofing insulation. Notably, due to the age + type of the building structure and materials used, it is not feasible to achieve complete sound insulation. The building framing/walls/maple parquet floors are thinner than modern construction standards, so you may occasionally hear sounds from guests in the neighboring unit. We appreciate your understanding and hope this does not detract from your overall enjoyment of our beautifully updated space. Please note that we do not provide refunds based on noise claims. If full silence is your priority, we kindly ask you to consider alternative accommodations.
Please supervise children while using amenities, particularly the hot tub. DO NOT LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED. No glass in the hot tub. During playtime, please keep an eye on children when using the game room. Safety first! 🌅🎮👀

To ensure that all our guests can share in the fun, we kindly ask that you handle these items with care. Please treat them as if they were your own, so they remain in great condition for others to enjoy after your departure. Please bring all outdoor games (e.g. cornhole boards) back inside the game room, as nightly fog/ocean mist quickly destroy them.

Service animals are welcome upon prior notification and subject to additional cleaning fees of $100 to provide deep cleaning + disinfection for next guests who may have allergies.
Absolutely NO smoking inside both the apartment and game room. This includes indoor use of tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping, and marijuana. If you do smoke outside, please ensure all ashes and butts are properly disposed of. A smoking cleaning fee maybe charged of $1000 if required to clean up.
Parties/events are not allowed. Guests who violate this rule will be asked to leave. Exceptions may be granted on a case by case basis, with associated security deposit and additional cleaning fee.
Please input correct number of people who will stay in the house; we will make bedding and other accommodation arrangements according to the number of guests you provided when booking. Any guests above maximum occupancy of 16 people will require additional charge of $35/guest/night.
While commercial photography and filming are generally not allowed, please contact us to discuss potential exception options.

* The indoor fireplace is a decorative feature only and is not functional. For your safety we kindly ask that you do not attempt to use the fireplace.
* This is an oceanfront property surrounded by abundant eco-system, where ants, flies, spiders and other insects are a natural part of the environment. While we conduct regular pest control, these little visitors might sometimes find their way in. Please keep exterior and garage doors closed to prevent them inside.
* Note a unique microclimate of Daly City where fog is a frequent feature, blanketing everything in a cool ethereal mist. While San Francisco Bay Area enjoys warmer temperatures, Daly City remains refreshingly chilly. Summer days rarely exceed 70°F (21°C), and evenings bring gentle cold and fog. The ocean breeze sweeps through every night, carrying with it the salty scent of the sea. This climate invites cozy sweaters/jackets and regularly leaves sandy/salty residue on cars and buildings surfaces, particularly on windows.
