The Oasis: Gorgeous Room in Beautiful Home!

Huge, light filled, freshly remodeled room with wet bar, ROKU internet TV, dresser, bay windows, and stand alone storage closet. The house was completely remodeled in 2019. Gorgeous chef`s kitchen and marble bath. Easy access to the 3rd Street T Line, UCSF Mission Bay and downtown.

Includes weekly housecleaning. Parking available.

Bedroom:

This large, light filled retreat has a wonderful queen bed with high thread count sateen cotton sheets, down duvet and pillows, and a memory foam mattress.
There is a small wet bar/sink in your room. You also have cabinetry in case you want to use it as a mini kitchenette to prepare morning coffee/breakfast.

Bay windows have cordless shades and light filtering curtains.

Please note that this bedroom does not have a full closet- instead it has a beautiful Crate and Barrel free-standing armoire with a clothing rod for hanging clothes. There is also a Crate and Barrel dresser in your room for clothing storage.

Kitchen:

The chef`s kitchen has just been remodeled with high end stainless appliances! Its a really fun place to cook :-) . We have pots and pans, a good knife set, toaster, microwave, tea kettle and a french press. The kitchen has the basics, but you may want to bring specialized cooking equipment/baking items if you plan to cook larger meals and/or you are a serious cook!

Bathroom:

The bathroom was completely remodeled in 2019, and features Carrara marble finishes and a clean, modern aesthetic. The bathroom is located down the hall from your room and is shared with 1 other bedroom.

Parking:

The house has 4 parking spots (2 driveway, 2 garage), plus an additional spot on the street. They are all first come first served. Street parking is free in case the house spots are taken. Please note that parking availability is not guaranteed. We allow a maximum of one car per room, and oversized trucks or vehicles are not permitted.

Room and House Access-

Both the front door and your bedroom door have keypad entry, so you don`t need to worry about keys. You will receive a unique code that opens only your bedroom door, which is changed after every guest.


House Cleaning-

The house is professionally cleaned weekly, including your bathroom and all shared areas of the house. We all appreciate a clean and tidy home and expect our guests to feel the same.

HEALTH AND CLEANLINESS PRECAUTIONS:

-We are waiting 72 hours between reservations, for sanitization
- Our cleaners are using bleach and other disinfectants to thoroughly deep clean each room and and bathroom after check out
- The common areas of the house are professionally cleaned weekly (kitchen, livinroom, shared bathroom)
- We have a strict no visitors policy. For the health and safety of everyone, no guests, visitors, friends, or family area allowed in the house.

Quiet, residential block just a short walk from Bayview Park, which is gorgeous and perfect for morning runs/hikes. The neighborhood is up and coming. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, although there are a couple of spots not to miss. Laughing Monk Brewery is about five blocks from the house and offers a really wonderful atmosphere, amazing brews, and fun events such as Tuesday night trivia, monthly Karaoke nights, and regular fun events. Also, don`t miss the phenomenal Craftsman and Wolves bakery, about 4 blocks from the house.

Driving is the fastest/easiest option, and with parking included, makes a convenient way to get around.

* Please be mindful that this is a private room in a house shared with other people. Please keep noise such as TV, music, and conversations down after 10:00 p.m. Multiple complaints about noise violations may result in the cancellation of your reservation

* For stays over 30 days we do background checks and we will need a picture of your driver`s license.

* Only people on the reservation will be allowed to enter the property. Friends, visitors, and additional guests are not allowed. If you would like to bring additional people, they need to be added to the reservation. The room fee is based on the number of guests, so it`s very important that you give an accurate number when you book. There is a $100 per person/night fee if you bring guests onto the property without permission.

While we understand your occasional desire to have friends or family over, please be aware that our property policy does not allow for additional guests, visitors, friends, or family.
- This is to minimize disruptions such as noise, chaos, and potential mess, especially in communal areas, fostering a peaceful living environment for all residents, which is particularly helpful during flu and cold seasons.
- For the well-being of all residents, our policy restricts the entry of strangers to address safety and security concerns for everyone staying in the house.
- Additionally, it helps us avoid parking challenges for the property. Please refrain from inviting extra individuals to alleviate parking issues.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a comfortable shared space. Please note that reservations may be subject to cancellation due to house rules violations if we receive complaints or notices about extra guests.

* Exterior security cameras monitor who comes and goes to the house.

* Absolutely NO smoking on the property, including the back deck. There is an automatic $300 penalty for evidence of smoking (odor, cigarette butts, etc.).

* Parking: The House has a 2-car garage and 2 driveway spots that will fit small to medium-sized cars only. All spots are first come, first served. We do not guarantee that a spot will always be available. Oversized trucks, vans, and SUVs will not fit and are not allowed to park in our parking spaces. Please introduce yourself and coordinate with the other housemates regarding parking as soon as you move in. We are not responsible for parking tickets incurred for blocking neighbors` driveways, so please be conscientious about street parking. Please note that parking availability is not guaranteed. We allow a maximum of one car per room, and oversized trucks or vehicles are not permitted.

* The cleaning fee for long-term guests is $250 and includes weekly professional cleaning of the communal areas of the house, kitchen, living room, etc. It also includes deep cleaning of your room after you check out. It helps defray the cost of consumables such as soaps, paper towels, and toilet paper that are provided during your stay. It does not include regular cleaning of your room. If a guest extends their original reservation, a supplemental cleaning fee will be charged, prorated by month.

* Please regularly launder your sheets and towels during your stay. It is very hard to get sheets cleaned if they have not been regularly washed during a long stay, and unfortunately, we will pass those replacement costs on to you if we determine the sheets are not cleanable. Replacement cost sheets $60, towels $15.

* Most of our guests are lovely, thoughtful people, but we do like to always point out that although your cleaning fee includes weekly cleaning of the kitchen, you are responsible for tidying up after yourselves, putting your dishes away washing up, and wiping down the counters after you use them :)

* As daily users of the kitchen, you’re the first to notice when something needs replacing. Need more glassware? Frying pan not cutting it? Let us know! Don’t wait until check-out to tell us you struggled all month—we want to make your stay better in real-time. Kitchen items are super easy to restock, so speak up, and we’ll take care of it!

* Drug and alcohol abuse will not be tolerated. Any disorderly conduct or behavior that makes other people uncomfortable will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation. We strive to keep our home a peaceful, quiet, and safe place for everyone to relax and enjoy.

* Cancellation Policy Reminder
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel cancellation insurance to protect their reservation.

Electric Vehicle Charging:
Guests bringing an electric vehicle and using on-site power for charging are subject to a $60 per month EV charging fee. Please notify us in advance if you plan to bring an EV.

KITCHEN ITEMS & SHARED SPACES

Just a quick note about the shared kitchen. Guests sometimes leave items like cooking gadgets, olive oil, or spices behind for others to use. Because of that, anything left out on the countertops and not labeled may be assumed to be communal.

If you bring personal kitchen items that you don’t want others to use, please store them in your assigned cabinet and make sure your room number is clearly labeled.

Please be a considerate housemate and do not use anything from another guest’s labeled cabinet. Pantry items, food, and kitchen gadgets that belong to other guests should not be used.

Additionally, please do not remove any items from the house at any time.

This helps avoid confusion and ensures a respectful, comfortable stay for everyone. Thank you so much for your understanding.
