B&B a San José

“What a treasure in Hotel Villa Zurqui. We were a group of 12 staying 1 night before heading north. Quaint is the operative word! The grounds are gorgeous with a large variety of plants and flowers. The food was very tasty as well. No a/c was concerning, but the fans in the rooms and the cool night made for a comfortable sleep. I recommend staying here!”

“Beautiful hacienda with gorgeous grounds, huge room and great air conditioning. Beds were comfortable and large. We were served a free hot breakfast on the veranda which was lovely and unexpected. The surrounding location is fairly industrial so we were surprised when we saw the huge gate open and the oasis within.”

A bit more expensive than a regular room but, OMG, so worth it!! Its large, has a beautiful view from the terrace, full kitchen, beautifully decorated. The owners, Charles and Peter, were an absolute delight. We talked through the entire breakfast and Charles even joined us one day for breakfast. The staff was also delightful. Mauricio...

“Airbnb style with very nice owners. No air conditioning Rudimentary but okay for one night Don’t bother going down to the river full of mosquitoes. Not much to cook by your self ustensiles, toasters , pan, cup… Best is it the owner’s friendliness”
