Nos gusto mucho. Ingresamos antes de la hora del Check-in y nos entregaron la habitación. La recepcionista y todo el personal super amables. Los alimentos que sirven son mas que suficientes, de buen sabor y mucha variedad. Las habitaciones y baños muy limpios. El lugar es un paraiso.

It was a very beautiful property. Room looked nice but was sooo hot. I checked a few times to make sure there was AC before I booked. There was one but really didn’t work. The food was ok it wasn’t great. When you choose to add the meals on when you book you don’t get to order, they have it already chosen what you will eat. I will say they do ask you at book in if you have any allergies but I would prefer to pick myself. For me the food is a big part of the experience

We stayed here for two days. Absolutely gorgeous! From the wildlife and views, to the food and relaxation. This spot was a 10/10! Would recommend to anybody!

Very peaceful relaxing getaway if you like to be by the water. Breakfast and dinner included with reservations and was delicious. Service amazing. Be careful at night the howler monkeys might alarm you while sleeping.

Hotel Gringo Perdido is an absolute gem, it is a beautiful yet small hotel right in Lake Peten built within nature. It was so serene & peaceful, absolutely silent from 9pm, and I had the most unbelievable sleeps of my life. The only downsides are that you are very remotely located far from Flores where there are restaurants & boats to take for cheap around the area are and to get there is very inconvenient, either taxi for $50 each way or colectivo/bus with locals which either shows up every 10min or every hour or so, it’s not clear which it will be. Also limited dining at the hotel, only one option for breakfast & dinner each day…a little challenging if you follow a particular diet. But despite these inconveniences I would absolutely stay here again & recommend to friends, the setting more than makes up for things. Also just keep in mind there isn’t a whole lot “to do” here besides relax.

Overall there is good value for money, however, there were a few unpleasant inconveniences. First was that our room supposedly had a private dock but people kept passing by and even staying in our area so it didn't feel too private, even once when coming out of the shower I found people in front of the door to the dock, even with the drapes closed it felt very invasive. The other one was that there was no hot water at the shower and they said they would send someone from the staff to fix it but no one showed up. The third one was that on one breakfast we had a hair in our food, so they replaced the whole plate and then after asking for a coffee they served it on a mug that didn't look clean. Besides from that the experience was good, the staff was mostly friendly, the food was tasty, the ambiance was relaxing and joyful, and the facilities are great.

Hotel property and amenities were excellent. The issue we had was that our reservation was not found and we spent over an hour trying to figure it out. Eventually, they found it and they gave us the room that was furthest in the property. Once checked in we found out that dinner was predetermined and werent allowed to have a choice in your meal. Staff, in particular, Lorena booked us the wrong tour even though we specifically stated it had to be a sunrise tour, then she lied saying that we never stated sunrise tour instead of just apologizing.

Location was stunning, but also the property, staff, food and all amenities. This is the one of the best hotels we have stayed. We enjoyed the view, the relaxing atmosphere and the service. We will definitely come back !!
