Perfetto per una notte
Mini-appartamento soppalcato nel cuore della vecchia San Juan, lungo Calle Fortaleza. Pulitissimo e dotato di tutto. Due note negative: mai incontrata la proprietaria (o chi gestisce la struttura) e la mancanza di finestre. Per il resto, solo cose positive, come l'odore di pulito, il confort dei letti, la buona connessione wi-fi, la posizione centrale e la comunicazione WhatsApp con la proprietaria. Ideale per chi deve soggiornare uno o due giorni a San Juan (dove gli alberghi sono piuttosto cari), magari prima di imbarcarsi per una crociera. Nelle vicinanze c'è tutto quello che serve: El Morro, la Fortaleza, gli altri monumenti storici, locali, banche e l'imbarco per le crociere (a circa 300 metri).

The apartment was spacious and very clean. The location was very convenient, right in Old San Juan. However, the apartment was located on a street full of smoke shops, which was not ideal, and there was quite a bit of noise from the street until the early hours of the morning on Thursday night/Friday morning. The noise did not reach the bedrooms but for our family member sleeping on the sofa bed in the Living room, it was quite loud.

Great location, but property needs maintenance. The check-in instructions and location of unit/parking was challenging to follow. We arrived after the 3:00 check-in. After about 40 minutes, house keeping walked into our rental using the master code. No knock. No reason.

I love the area around this property. There are many local dining and shopping options available. It’s also in such a convenient location. I love the security of the property as well. Although there is no one physically there, there are steps needed to take to enter the residence each time and at different locations. They are wet responsive when calling or texting. It’s a beautiful home. My critiques are the cleanliness. The microwave was dirty, only one dish rag, and one of the oven mitts had old, dried cheese on it. One of the burners on the stovetop doesn’t work although they did it was brand new. One of the sofas is burned from a previous guest. Ants seemingly appear out of nowhere. There’s a washer and dryer in the unit. Sometimes when trying to wash clothes water does not come out of the washer. The maintenance staff didn’t make sure all the rooms had the correct air conditioning remotes, that was a slight inconvenience. The unit also isn’t equipped with the basic cleaning necessities or extra bags. I found that inconvenient.

The are is very loud. The front bedroom was not useable due to the street noise. The only windows don’t shut tight. There were bugs ALL OVER THE APARTMENT. Very cute and spacious but would not stay again. Reported the bugs with no response.

The door is next to Guess. The address 106, but it is NOT across from 105. It is across from 109. The office was helpful, answered the phones and offered to meet us to get in okay. Apartment was luxurious!

It is a great location right in Old San Juan. The space os lofted and grand in appearance and feel. Very gorgeous. If you are looking for quiet I would say do not stay in an old building in the heart of Old San Juan. There are not airtight doors or glass to protect you from the noise. We slept with a fan app and it was perfect for us. The location cannot be beat.

The only issue was the many codes that were provided for the several different doors to get into the rental. Office fortunately was right around the corner so we could get clarifications . Most staff were great! Have patience it is worth it!

Beautiful condo and incredible location
Incredible location and incredible deal. We love Old Town and the apartment was near our favorite place for gelato and a block away from the square. Very comfortable. Very clean. Great Old Town vibe. Full kitchen and even a washing machine and dryer in the larger bathroom. Remotes did not work in all the rooms so had some trouble controlling fans and AC. It’s Old Town so there are old pipes and water pressure in the showers is very low. Also, very narrow and twisty, but super beautiful, stairs to get to the apartment. Communication was a little spotty. There were a ton of emails with deposit requests, parking info, luggage storage, and check in information. They’re trying super hard to make sure you get all the info, but there are so many details, the main point gets lost in the weeds. But they are incredibly nice, answer emails and phone calls right away, and do everything they can to clarify. Not many towels. We were a group of 6 and there weren’t any extras. We had an interior room and windows opened to the interior. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Amazing upgraded property (still with colonial vibe including floors, balconies, doors, windows, etc). In the heart of old San Juan. Parking was tricky but that’s everywhere in old San Juan during high season. Spotless property with A/C and W/D. This one was in Tanca Street for 10 guests. Perfect!

Lovely condo with amazing views from the roof top patio. super comfy beds. Had issues with the water pressure. Also on a busy corner street. Much traffic and construction noise. All in all we loved our stay. Close to everything in Old San Juan. Able to walk everywhere so did not need the expense of a car.

I'll start with the positive. The location was great with bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance. It also had a cute roof top terrace that had a great view, a sitting area and a blow-up hot tub. Now for the negative. The apartment was not even close to what was advertised. I was very disappointed. It was a tiny cement apartment, with a tiny kitchen, then a tiny staircase up to a tiny bedroom. It reminded me of a utility room. The bed was maybe a double and up against a cement wall. I felt very claustrophobic and did not sleep well at all. My suggestion would be to advertise the apartment as is so people know what they are renting.
