Cottage a San Pedro La Laguna

“This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. The rooms are NOT what are pictured here. When we arrived we were told our room was down the street. We were walked there by a hotel staff who showed us a door off the busy street, and down a dark and dirty flight of steps. The view is incredible, but it stops there. The room was dirty - the kitchen was beyond filthy with food splashed on the walls, an unlevel refrigerator, and a water container that looked unkept and unsafe. There...

“The location is nice and quiet, with lovely restaurants around and beautiful views of the lake. The property itself is stunning, and is fantastic value for money. The walk into town is actually quite nice, or you can easily grab a tuc tuc if in a rush. My only suggestions for improvement are that it was quite difficult to contact the host using the number provided through Expedia; however, there was a number on the door when I arrived which proved much more fruitful. “Poor communication to enter the property, had to wait outside for 10 minutes in the night. The owner eventually came to open the door, but calls and text were not answered. The owner was very nice and once inside was responsive to texts. The room was very pretty as well. ”
