Secluded but not Isolated - Perfect Beach Vacation

This home is a dream come true for us, and we’d love to share it with you. Located on the Pacific coast of Oaxaca, “El Puertecito” is a peaceful hidden gem just 25 minutes from Puerto Escondido (30 minutes from the airport) and 1.5 hours from Huatulco. It’s the perfect place to relax, disconnect, and experience nature on a pristine beach full of marine life.



The Space:

The house features 3 bedrooms, each with a spacious queen-size bed. All rooms have fans, and one bedroom includes air conditioning.



There are 2 full bathrooms with showers and hot pressurized water (hydrojet system), plus separate sinks in an open space. The home also offers 2 interior patios and storage areas for beach gear, a washer, and cleaning supplies.



On the rooftop, you’ll find a large terrace with loungers, a hammock, and seating—perfect for enjoying stunning Pacific sunsets.



The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped (cookware, utensils, coffee maker, blender, fridge/freezer, and a 4-burner gas stove) and connected to a spacious living and dining area.



At the entrance, there is a jacuzzi with hydromassage and a small sandy area—great for kids (with supervision) or for relaxing. Private parking is available.



Weekly cleaning is included; additional cleanings are available for an extra fee.



Just steps from the house, you’ll find three types of beaches: natural rock pools for calm swimming, open ocean for surfing, and a bay for experienced swimmers. About 1 km away (walking along the beach), there’s a beautiful lagoon with local flora and abundant birdlife, including pelicans right in front of the house.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to a washing machine, detergent, cleaning supplies, beach chairs, umbrella, bath and beach towels, coffee makers, stove, cookware, and all kitchen essentials.



The Neighborhood:

A small, quiet village with a few private homes—ideal for a peaceful and authentic experience.



Getting Around:

There is no public transportation directly to the house. Locals may offer rides to the main road where minibuses pass.

For more convenience, we recommend renting a car at Puerto Escondido or Huatulco airport.

We also have a trusted taxi driver (Arturo) who can take you to the house for approximately 700 MXN.



Other Things to Note:

“El Puertecito” is still a hidden paradise located off Highway 200 (Km 167). From there, follow a 3.5 km dirt road to the beach (look for the handmade yellow sign).



The village is very small, with only basic shops. We recommend buying groceries and water in advance. Puerto Escondido has a large supermarket (Chedraui) with a wide selection of products.



All guests are required to sign a rental agreement prior to their stay. A secure link will be sent before arrival, and completion is required to access the property.
