Oceanview Gatsby House

  • Questa straordinaria casa mediterranea con vista sull'Oceano Pacifico sorprende dalla terrazza superiore. Questa casa squisita siede in cima a un pacchetto paesaggistico ½ acri che copre fino a 400 acri di spazio aperto. Un cancello privato si apre su una serie di sentieri escursionistici e ciclabili che conducono all'oceano sottostante. Il legno di ciliegio, il marmo e il granito fanno da cornice a questa splendida casa. Gli arredi nuovi includono i materassi in cotone biologico e mobili finemente artigianali di Amish. Le lampade Tiffany, il divano sovraffollato con seduta d'amore e sedie in pelle con ottomani circondano il camino in marmo e il 42 "LCD HDTV con canali premium via cavo. Designer mobili all'aperto riempiono i piani spaziali per un'ampia sala da pranzo fuori e divertente. Un incantevole scaldabagno ombrellone e Weber Genesis Propane Grill completano l'accogliente ambiente esterno. La suite matrimoniale con letto king include una vasca idromassaggio per due persone e una lussuosa doccia a muro in cinque direzioni. Le camere Queen e Twin sono sul lato opposto della casa per una maggiore privacy con la cucina gourmet spaziosa e completamente attrezzata tra di loro. L'atteggiamento "No Expense Saved" di questa casa è combinato con un tono caldo e invitante che ti farà tornare di anno in anno.

    Nota dai proprietari: a causa delle condizioni estreme di siccità, scoraggiamo l'uso della vasca idromassaggio e chiediamo agli ospiti di utilizzare solo una doccia nel bagno Master invece dei 5 disponibili. Chiediamo inoltre agli ospiti di conservare ulteriormente l'acqua prendendo la biancheria personale, limitando l'inutile sciacquo dei bagni e mantenendo le docce sotto i 5 minuti. Ci dispiace per qualsiasi disagio che queste misure di conservazione possono causare, tuttavia siamo sicuri che potrai godere della nostra casa nella bella Cambria nonostante queste condizioni. Camino a gas, CD, DVD, TV in tutte le camere, Canali Premium TV via cavo, Internet wireless e chiamate nazionali a lunga distanza gratuite. Il servizio di telefonia cellulare non è affidabile. This is a beautiful house. Went for a walk around the neighborhood and discovered a hiking trail nearby on our last day. Wish I had known about it sooner. This house is very luxurious.

Girls Trip

The house and grounds were just beautiful. We especially loved all the wildlife that came in the yard...deer, quail, wild turkeys, and even a bunny. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfortable. A few too many extra steps made it a bit difficult for my disabled partner but the wooden walking stick by the front door was a big help. It was a bit disappointing to not be able to use the jacuzzi tub and multiple shower heads due to the drought, but not unexpected. Overall, our group of 5 friends were comfortable and pleased with our visit to celebrate some special birthdays. Love Cambria...great restaurants and shops and the ocean views are beautiful. One last question...where is the tennis court referred to online...we never found it. Overall, a great place to stay.

The Roku, however, gives us pause. 5 controllers and three women putting their heads together are no match for the Roku! Less TV watched. But we had plenty of crocheting to do!

We loved the property and it's location. The house was very clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped, and stocked. Everything in the house functioned properly and we had no problems or complaints. I especially liked the home's view of the ocean and it's proximity to the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, with it's many hiking trails and views of the coast.

We were all very comfortable, home had everything we needed. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front ocean view deck, making meals in the well stocked kitchen and exploring the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. The weather could not have been better! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in the Gatsby House a few times and will not stay anywhere else! The home is beautifully maintained and comfortable. And the location could not be beat. Functional and lovely kitchen and the bathrooms are clean and spacious. Comfortable beds and couches for relaxing. We enjoy breakfast and afternoon snacks with an ocean view on the beautiful front porch. Having direct access to the forest from the lovely yard is such a delight! We walk every day, exploring many directions, and the privacy from not having a neighbor on that side is an added bonus. The home is a very short drive into the quaint town. Also a short walk (though very hilly) down to the tide pools and rocks at the south end of Fiscalini Reserve.

Having outdoor space in the front and back is lovely. Lots of nature around - birds, deer, quail, rabbits, lizards... It is so quiet as well. It is a wonderful place to take stress away. High quality furnishings. Good wifi. And you have the whole Fiscalini Preserve behind you.
