This home was very clean and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was well appointed. We loved sitting on the deck enjoying the ocean and sunset views and the deer meandering about. Fiscalini Ranch was easily walkable. For four adults the living room was a bit cosy but it worked out well. The rental company staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Clean, cozy, and close to the beach!

Amazing property close to the beach and close to both of Fiscalini Ranch trailheads! The garage is spotless, the house is clean with comfy sheets/bedding, and the kitchen has everything you need. Fun bonus loft in bedroom. Balcony is perfect for star gazing.

Loved this house near the Cambria coast

It was just as advertised (and all the photos ahead of time really helped appreciate it!). The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed, and the home itself was bright, due to all the natural light. Truly the only down side was the smoke alarm going off our first night (false alarm), but the team at the office were very good about checking in with us. We loved this place and would love to stay again sometime!

Perfect quiet getaway

This is a lovely, cozy home in a quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to the ocean, and Fiscalini preserve. Ocean view porch! Enjoyed the stay and would definitely return.

Great Weekend Get-away

Fun and foggy.

The house was very clean. Great views from front balcony. It was foggy and cool (high 60’s) for most of our stay which was awesome since we live in Phoenix where we left temps of 115+. My one complaint is that we were very limited as to which windows we were allowed to open so we couldn’t get very good air circulation in the house especially at night since we didn’t want to sleep with the doors open. Also, the entire home is hooked up to salt water filtration so we had to buy bottles of drinking water because salt filtered water should not be consumed. All in all beautiful neighborhood and setting and clean comfortable home.

Relaxing getaway

The house was great for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. You can see the ocean from the balcony. With the windows open you can hear the ocean and feel the breeze. The neighborhood was very quiet. There is access to the ocean just a few blocks away. Great, relaxing place to stay.

Quiet. Can walk to hiking trails. Nice kitchen supplies and bedroom supplies

Perfect for two adult couples. Clean, quiet. 10 to 15 minutes from town and groceries. Nice beaches and hiking trails. Paso Robles wineries a short drive. People not familiar with California climate should know summers are often foggy and cool at the coast then 10 minutes inland 25 degrees warmer in summer.

Exquisite peaceful enclave

O. M. G. We almost didn’t want to review this property because we loved it so much, we don’t want it to become so popular that we can’t get in anymore! We’ve been doing vacation rentals for decades and this one was just perfect. It’s in our favorite part of town: far from the noisy, Moonstone Beach crowds but moments away from the gorgeous, oceanside trails of the Fiscalini Preserve, i.e.: 3-mile walks along the ocean daily. That’s why one of the first things we did within 48 hours was to stop by property manager Breen to book another week a month later—AND to tell them that whoever they have cleaning this charming house ought to be canonized. Never before have we EVER stayed in such an immaculate home: that level of care is usually present only for real estate showings! Otherwise, everything previous reviewers have said about the kitchen is true: very well-equipped; the pictures of the main sitting room are completely accurate: lovely, bright, sunny space on the second floor. The master is also up there. Downstairs bedroom has a terrace and its own full bathroom, and that’s really the extent of the space: 3 lovely rooms, 2 bathrooms, and a staircase with 14 steps that are slightly steep, so this would not be an appropriate home for anyone on crutches, in a walking boot, wheelchair, etc. But the home is absolutely perfect for 2 people, beautiful views, cozy: I suspect for 4, it might be tight: you’d have to REALLY like the other couple, but a family with 1-2 kids would work well if you don’t mind being on different levels. If you have a toddler, though, the architectural design of the top of the stairs would not work well for a baby gate. The towels are super-fluffy (which is almost NEVER the case even in fine hotels) and, the only thing I’ll say that could be improved—mostly to lend credibility to this review—is that more hangers would be helpful, bed pillows are pretty shot; and, for Breen, some clarity on the arrival window! Specs say arrival is 4 PM but it seemed that, when we arrived at 4 PM, we were late! Otherwise, we couldn’t have imagined a better stay: due to the strange development history of this part of Cambria, there are multiple Marine Terrace lots that are undeveloped. This particular property has undeveloped lots on either side. The nearest house—maybe 3-4 lots away—is also a vacation rental; so 6 people on a terrace could get loud but, for us, the only immediate and very quiet neighbors were deer. Can’t wait to return.

Great place to relax and unwind

This was an ideal location for my friends and I to get away and enjoy some time at the beach. It was clean, quiet, and just a small walk to the beach. The deer throughout the neighborhood were an added bonus!

Wonderful home in a great neighborhood

We have rented many VRBO homes and this ranked among the best equipped and ideal for the location. Comfortable, bright and nicely decorated. Well laid out architecture and very well appointed. We would stay again on another trip to Cambria.

Perfect location and comfortable accomodations

My sister and I enjoyed our stay, the kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy and just a quick walk to the beach. Although we didn't use it much, the tv is old school cable, no netflix. jacuzzi was off limits and there were mixed messages about pets allowed (originally wanted to bring our dog) but all worked out and we loved our stay!

great house for exploring

We very much enjoyed our trip to cambria region. The house is comfortable and was perfect for our family of 4. One bedroom and bath along with kitchen and living room are upstairs and one larger bedroom with bath are downstairs. The location is great for taking walks to the coastline for general exploring and tide pooling and watching the sunsets. Coastline access every couple of blocks from the house. It is also well situated for short drives to moonstone beach, elephant seals, and other beautiful beach view points. My only concern was that the key needed to be picked up and returned to the office in town which is a slight inconvenience. I have done many VRBOs and there are better ways to transfer keys and get contracts signed.

Perfect cottage with an ocean view!

Charming and beautifully stocked beach house! This is the cleanest home we have ever stayed in in the last 15 years of travel and rentals! Great location, perfect kitchen with all you might need, lots of towels, great showers, cozy upstairs with games, CDs and books...terrific location with ocean view decks and a quick walk to Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. The owner's of this lovely home have worked hard to make you feel as if you are their guests!
