“We loved all about our stay here. The check in was easy and convenient. The host helped us via WhatsApp with all our questions. We booked the room with a window towards the street. It was super clean and tastefully furnished. The breakfast included freshly prepared fruit salad, fresh juice coffee/tea, scrambled egg and an assortment of bread. Perfect to kick off the day. ”

“We adored our stay at Pepe’s! The room and bed (firm) were comfortable and to our liking. The location is *very* walkable to several squares, restaurants, shopping, and even a few great beer spots (two breweries and a Belgian spot). “Hotel Azul is in the most historic part of downtown across from lovely Plaza de San Sebastián. If you tell a taxis driver “Plaza de San Sebastián,” that’s all they need to know. Not a lot of traffic on this street but taxis on streets above & below. We stayed 9 nights in this small modest hotel and loved it. The staff is very friendly & helpful. Everything downtown is in easy walking distance & there’s lots to see. First floor is one flight up, but luggage assistance is available. ”

“Beautiful property! Very conveniently located right in the Old City. Very walkable, safe, lots of options for dining & shopping. Stayed with family & loved out time Cuenca is beautiful and local gem is a must! Very nice family owns it and they do everything to assure you have the best time there. Breakfast is great in am. “Very old colonial estate in central old town Cuenca. If you’re bothered by creaky wood floors and everything old and small rooms, this is not for you. Tenía una ventana, con una vista muy fea , a un techo de una casa al lado. No había ni una silla, 1 solo gancho y closet muy estrecho. Muy anticuado. Nada de shampoo y con jabón pequeño de barra muy mala calidad.”
