Welcome to the charming and cozy Kataluma Inn located in the heart of the pastoral Selle Valley.

This well appointed cabin/cottage is removed from it all, immersed in natural beauty and abundant wildlife, with easy access to endless North Idaho outdoor recreation.

This quaint retreat is centrally located approx. 7 miles from downtown Sandpoint, the Schweitzer Mountain shuttle, as well as, public Lake Pend Oreille access.

Down the private driveway, you will find the welcoming covered porch, perfect for sipping a favorite drink and relaxing.

Stepping inside, the craftsmanship and character of the space will make you feel as though you've stepped into the pages of a familiar storybook.

You will find everything you need including a full kitchen, smart TV, dining area, full bathroom with in-floor heating, gas fireplace, BBQ, loft bedroom, fast Wi-Fi, Etc.

Outside, cozy up to the wood burning firepit to take in the starlit sky.

The cabin was an idyllic getaway location! We stayed for our Anniversary, and were greeted with kind hospitality. The cabin itself was beautiful, comfortable, and filled with sweet and thoughtful little touches. We were so happy to stay, and so thankful we were able to visit. We would definitely come and stay again!

What a fantastic stay in the woods! The property was close to Sandpoint and we went back and forth to town several times a day. Lots of attention to detail, a sense of welcome, hospitality, and warmth enveloped us from the moment we set foot in the door. The perfect cozy cabin getaway for two.

Amazing!! From the time we pulled up, we knew we made the right choice. This adorable little cabin was perfect for a quick get-away for the two of us. Super clean, quiet and private...with lots of little touches to make our stay special. Kendra and Tyson have thought of everything and are fantastic hosts. Great location too...nestled in the forest, yet just a quick drive to Sandpoint. We hope to be back again!!

We enjoyed our time in this cabin immensely! It was nicely furnished, and had everything we needed. The cabin was located in a peaceful and private clearing in the woods. We had our older dog with us, and there was plenty of room to walk him on the property. Our host responded to questions in a very timely manner. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! The cabin’s location is in a quiet setting. We desperately needed to get away from “the crazy” and this was a perfect second stop on our North Idaho/Western Montana vacation. There were so many thoughtful “things” in this cabin. My favorite was sitting by the fireplace with my cup of coffee after a day’s worth of adventures. We stayed three nights and looked forward to going back to the warm cozy cabin. Greatly appreciated the hospitality these folks provided!

Such a beautiful cabin in a gorgeous location! I wish I could stay forever. The hospitality was amazing! From the handed written note and freshly baked cookies, to all the little details in the cabin. Everything was so thoughtful! Beautiful clean property and close to town. We had a wonderful weekend! Location was excellent being about 15 minutes from town but also far enough away where you are tucked into the woods and away from any bustling roads where you can listen to the rustling of leaves from the wind and the rain bouncing off the leaves and roof. The stars are night at plentiful. The cabin was very cozy. My fiance and I were very comfortable with our two dogs (Aussie & Portuguese Water dog). Excellent modern touches with a rustic feel. Very picturesque.

9/17-9/22: We drove 650 miles to spend our 9yr anniversary at this cabin with our black lab, Kobe. The cabin has a very welcoming vibe that makes you NOT want to leave. So, we spent most of our time at the cabin relaxing. We enjoyed perfect fall weather by the campfire! Took the dog for walks on their nature trail; where we saw deer & turkey. The amenities are all there as advertised! Thank you for everything provided,(esp the firewood & coffee).

Honestly was perfect, was perfect location, and they had everything we needed were quick to respond and property was perfect for a get away, near downtown and amenities… we had dogs and we loved taking them on multiple walks around their property…. Only thing I would recommend is durning the warmer seasons putting a fan upstairs to help circulate the the nice breeze at night with the window open, did get a little toasty upstair, and to be fair I’m sure if we had asked for a fan they would have supplied it as they were super attentive to all our needs!!! Thank you for sharing this cute home with us!!!

Loved our little getaway to this property! The communications with the property managers was easy, with prompt responses. Ever need was already thought of and taken care of, including a warm reception (cabin was warmed and lit up for our arrival...with cookies and a welcome note). Very very clean, comfortable, and tidy with every detail beautiful and well thought out. Thank you so much for a great stay. Would definitely recommend...and already have to many!
