Loved the room and the comfort. Despite the heat (30C, which isn't common in Yorkshire), we both loved the stay and the welcoming staff. Will definitely return if we're passing through again! ”

“Excellent stay, reviewed before we landed and they were not good. We thought they were rubbish as we found nothing wrong with the place. Lovely pub, room and very friendly staff & customers in the pub. We heard no noise at all even though it was a busy Saturday night with music going on. Would definitely recommend 💯 ”

“People working at the Royal were great. The hotel was a little dated and the room was missing a few bulbs for the lights.. it served our purpose and was in town close to everything we needed. Spent every night in the bar area, drinks and food were good prices..

“Beautiful historic house set in peaceful countryside. The owners and staff were very friendly and attentive. We also booked the Sunday lunch which was delicious and spent the evening sitting by a log fire in a snug room with a cheeseboard and bottle of wine. Our bedroom was stunning.
We only had an overnight stay but would love to go back for a longer stay one day.”

“We stayed over as we were attending a wedding in the local area. This property is amazing in every way I would love to go back near Christmas time as I can image it would be wonderful. The staff are very friendly the food was the best and our room was the best with a really lovely bathroom too. ”

"Non male nel complesso. Le stanze sono abbastanza spaziose e luminose. Faceva molto freddo nella mia ed anche se ho chiamato due volte per alzare la temperatura è rimasta la stessa centralizzata.
