The house was exactly as described in the listing. The decor was very nice and up-to-date and it was very clean. It’s actually very close to town which was nice, but it wasn’t in the best area and there was an abandoned run down home next-door, which was unsightly. Amy the property manager was quick to respond to any questions or concerns, until we let her know about the one main issue during our stay.Unfortunately when we arrived, there was a strong smell of sewer in the downstairs unit. They placed several air fresheners in the outlets to try and help with the odor. We were hoping the odor would not be that noticeable after coming in and out and having the doors opened occasionally, but it actually ended up getting worse and also came up to the upper unit to the first couple of bedrooms at the top of the stairs. We kept the doors shut to the bedrooms which helped. We had to spend most of our time in the upper unit due to the odor…but we had no choice but to use both bedrooms downstairs. I let Amy know the next morning that the smell was definitely an issue. She did have someone stop over but we didn’t have him check it out during our stay.It’s definitely an issue that would’ve needed to be taken care of prior to our stay. The air fresheners were a red flag that they were already aware of the sewer gas odor.Hopefully the issue gets resolved. I really feel we should’ve been given a partial refund but I didn’t hear back from Amy after telling her my concerns.

Both apartments are lovely. Beautifully decorated and inviting. Having both units was perfect for our large group. Was such a relaxing environment, perfect place for game night. This was a great spot for our trip to Cedar Park and to explore Sandusky. PS - Hit up the diner across the street, it was so good!
