Mixed Experience: Great Location, Poor Accommodations
The location was excellent, room included a generously sized fridge and staff were generally pleasant. However, the accommodations were beyond disappointing.
Swimming Pool - At the time of booking, it was not disclosed that the on-site pool is restricted 21+ on Fri - Sun so our kids did not have access to the pool our entire stay.
Room Quality - The room smelled musty and damp. The carpet was sticky, and bedding had visible stains (which the front desk replaced upon request). FYI - no phone in the room. Bath towels were thin and scratchy. The mattress cover was flimsy and tattered. Corners were shredded and constantly bunched. Pillows were flat and unsupportive. Rolled-up pool towels would have been an upgrade. Not comfortable at all.
Amenities - The bathroom counter had barely two inches of usable space on either side of the sink, making it difficult to place toiletries. Our room also lacked a full-length mirror and limited hanging space (no closet) which was inconvenient.
Cleanliness - We found multiple hairs not ours behind the bathroom door and between the sheets. Reflects poor housekeeping and quality control.
Be mindful at night because the bugs will get in the room. For us, the sink area is the first thing you see and in the morning, there was a swarm of bugs around the light above the sink.
Overall, would not recommend for the price.
