“This is one of the few chain hotels close to Nauvoo. After checking in, I decided I would’ve rather driven 3 hours south to get to St. Louis than stay close to Nauvoo at this hotel. It didn’t feel clean. It smelled of bleach and random fragrant smells that differed between rooms. The breakfast looked gross. There was pubic hair all over the floor in the bathroom. I’m not sure why the reviews are favorable. This isn’t much better than a super 8. The female night manager/worker talked so much...

“The room we stayed in was great, but the other residents were a bit sketchy, it looked like a lot of folks were permanent residents. We felt bad for our hostess because she was just working there, and she was fantastically helpful.”
