"Fantastic staff who were incredibly helpful. Very good sleep and walkable to everything in Scalloway. Car required for daytrips. Hood parking outside the hotel and a short walk away."

"It’s probably the ugliest building we’ve ever stayed in, but better inside. Our room was rather ‘tired’ - wallpaper peeling off, large crack in the basin, but was clean. Food was really good, and excellent breakfast."

"The hotel was clean, warm but dated. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The fact that there was no restaurant meant no meal or breakfast but the staff advised me of lovely alternatives. I believe the hotel has just changed hands so probably just getting things organised and i hope it works for ..."
