Beach Side quattro camere da letto, tre bagni casa disponibili per affitti settimanali. Questa affascinante casa più vecchio è come un passo indietro nel tempo per Old Sanibel. Questo bungalow è stata una delle prime case costruite su Sanibel ed è stato un kit di casa Sears e Roebuck. Questa casa ha finiture più anziani in tutto tra cui bagni originali. Passeggiata in ampio soggiorno con TV a schermo piatto, doppia porta a vetri e comodi divani. La sala da pranzo ha posti a sedere per sei ed è aperto alla cucina spaziosa. La grande cucina ha tutto il necessario per creare un ottimo pasto. Rilassarsi sulla veranda posteriore sotto i pini australiani. Il primo bagno per gli ospiti dispone di una combinazione doccia / vasca. Rilassatevi nella grande master suite dispone di un letto matrimoniale e TV a schermo piatto. Il bagno principale dispone di ampi armadi e box doccia. Il piano superiore dispone di tre piccole camere da letto, due con letto matrimoniale e una con due letti singoli e un piccolo bagno con doccia. Se siete alla ricerca di una casa settimanale, lato spiaggia con fascino storico e finiture anziani questa è la casa per voi!

Ascoltate le onde si infrangono, a piedi, il guscio rivestito spiaggia, giocare una partita a tennis, rilassarsi sul ponte superiore e guardare i tramonti di fama mondiale. Una vera e propria vacanza al mare Sanibel Island!

A vacation in paradise

We have been vacationing on Sanibel Island since the 1980s and Sandy Bend #9 is our new favorite place to stay. We have stayed at the Lighthouse end, near Blind Pass, and many places in between. Not only was this location ideal, but the home exceeded our expectations. This home was extremely clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and the layout was perfect for our family. We loved the beautiful pool area located directly behind the home as well. We would highly recommend staying here!

Perfect location - perfect weather

Property is located away from the busy end of the island. Water in the front (gulf) and water in the back (pool). Quiet 9-unit condo in front (between house and beach) but otherwise great. Some fix-up is needed in the upper floor - bathroom new but 3 small bedrooms need work. Also, AC on the upper level is loud and very cold in one bedroom. Our family enjoyed the week.

Best Shelling and Beach Access

What a fantastic little cottage adjacent to the beach! Our family of 6 stayed for 2 weeks in January. Our party included 2 teens, an 8 year old and my 82 year old father. We loved our stay. The grounds were beautiful with numerous flowering hibiscus and bougainvillea. The pool was warm and clean and so accessible from the back door of the cottage. We chatted with several of the owners who live in the beachside unit. They were very friendly and and helpful sharing local information. The best part was the location, just steps from the beach. We shelled after a few storms and found loads of fantastic shells. As this was our 5th visit to Sanibel we've become fairly picky in what we collect, but we still ended up packing a lot of shells home including: large lightening whelks, alphabet cones, large shark's eyes, lace and apple murex, horse conchs, tulips, olives, fig whelks, pear whelks, drills, nutmegs, moonshells, urchins... It was nuts. The best shelling was of course after the storms but we also did well wading in the shallows at low tide. So.much.fun! Our kids don't ask for Disney, they'd much rather come to Sanibel and this was our favorite vacation of the 5 trips. We also rented bikes and rode all over the island. Joey's ice cream was delish as was Cips and the Sanibel Cafe for breakfast. We enjoyed the birding at Ding Darling, Bailey Tract and Bailey Homestead (lots of iguanas too). I'd come back tomorrow if I could! My only suggestions for improvement are replacing the very soft mattresses. Also check in instructions were inaccurate. The key pad is electronic and is located right on the front door. Once you touch the top of the keypad, it will light up and you enter your code. The code is used as your key. There is NO physical key (despite what the check-in instructions indicated). But other than that the kitchen was well-equipped and even included a slow cooker and panini grill.

Great for a family vacation!

This house was perfect for our family of 8 - our four kids and spouses of our two oldest. The location is fantastic, with the beach 100 steps away, lounge chairs available for the beach and a pool right behind the house. The house was very clean when we arrived. There is plenty of room for family meals and a good-sized kitchen with modern appliances. The master bedroom suite is very roomy. Water pressure and hot water was not a problem for 8 people taking showers. Highly recommended - we will book this house again next trip to Sanibel!

Great property

The location was perfect… Right on the beach. We had the four bedroom house. It well met our needs. It was also nice to have the new swimming pool for those times when we are tired of laying out on the beach.

Charming beach house

We stayed a week at this old Florida house and loved the cozy feel as well as access to the lovely beach. The master suite on the first floor is very spacious with large remodeled bathroom including washer. And dryer. Kitchen has lots of dishes, pots and pans. No plastic storage containers for leftovers. Be sure to bring anything for cooking, such as condiments, spices, plastic wrap, foil. A small amount of dishwasher and liquid detergent provided as well as a few trash bags and some to. Lots of seating for dining. Well supplied with beach supplies, chairs, toys, etc. we had one problem with heat malfunctioning but managers dealt with it quickly and it was fixed within a few hours. One annoyance was the check in and out procedures we were emailed. These are outdated and incorrect, referring to non existent keys in a lock box. Could be very easily remedied. There is a 3 story apartment bldg between the house and the beach, but we had access to the upstairs deck which was great for watching the sunset! A great place.

Cute cottage perfect for a family getaway

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the property & loved learning a little about its history. It felt cozy and had everything we needed for a family of 8. We really appreciated the large dining table, cookware and utensils that were available for us to use. It was our 1st time to Sanibel and location was perfect for us. We were pleasantly surprised with the new pool and felt welcome to take in the beautiful views from the veranda on the top floor of the condos.

The location and beach access were simply perfect. We loved the gorgeous new pool and we used the tennis court daily. A resort feel with these amenities- yet in our own space. Was just perfect! We will be back.

Thanksgiving on the island

We have five teenage children and spent Thanksgiving in this quaint house in Sanibel. It had everything we needed. Loved the 3 updated showers. We were super comfortable in the space and enjoyed our time together, biking all over the island and getting to the beach each day.

Beautifully renovated old Sears cottage

Everything about this property was terrific, from the location and proximity to the beach and hiking paths, to the owners/residents whom we met, to the responsiveness of the property manager to the decor and furnishings of the unit. We immediate rebooked for another stay at Sandy Bend. Thank you for an amazing and lovely experience.

Fun times

Enjoyed our stay at Sandy Bend. Location was perfect with easy access via bike to restaurants and stores. PROS: Short walk to beach Chairs available at condo just in front of house Lots of space inside Screened in porch Bike paths well kept and easy to navigate Well stocked kitchen CONS: Three bedrooms upstairs with one bath Full bath downstairs (we had three couples so one used downstairs bath) Master bathroom does not have a door Hot upstairs Washer and dryer in master bath. We stayed a week and had a great time. Shells everywhere. Bring bug spray...don't need it all the time but when the wind stops, they come out quick and are relentless. Would definitely stay again. Hope this helps!

Perfect Get-away-from-it-all

This cozy cottage is just steps away from the beach. All the extra beach toys (chairs, umbrella, buckets, scoops, etc.) were a HUGE help to thoroughly enjoying the sand, waves and shells. The kitchen is completely fully stocked with every appliance we could need. Beds were comfy. Downstairs was plenty comfortable, but the upstairs got a little stuffy at night. There was one box fan in the closet that was a blessing. The big showers were great. Plenty of extras. Thank you!!

Wonderful Relaxing Vacation Place

We had a great time at this house for spring break. Our only complaint was that the cleaners were not ready for us to get in at 4:00pm but we went down to the beach and could get in around 4:45. Place was pretty clean and had lots of kitchen gadgets. The beds upstairs are full sized, not Queen. We loved the location on the island and the beach was perfect for us!

Sandy Bend House 9, Sanibel Florida

The house was perfect for a multi-generational family trip. There are 4 separate bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. It is newly decorated and very well appointed. The kitchen is large and well stocked with everything needed for meal prep. It is only steps to a beautiful beach and has ample parking. The rental property staff were helpful and accommodating, they made every effort to make our stay comfortable and successful. The house and grounds are clean and well kept. The property is very conveniently situated so there is easy access to most anyplace you might want to go on Sanibel. I highly recommend this property.

We arrived in the middle of the night to find checkin instructions wrong.

Annual Family Vacation

We are a family of 6 all in our 70s, brothers and sister-in-law. This beach cottage was a perfect spot and would live to come back and stay in the same place again. The decor, furnishings and extra thought to detail was way over the top. Comfortable beds, every small appliance imaginable. I could go on and on how great our stay was.

Nice House

This house was nice and comfortable for the 7 adults in our group. The only negative was that the next guest tried to check-in a day and half early while we were still there. They tried to enter the house, then the management cleaning staff came knocking (more than a day early) to see when we would be vacating the property. This made us feel pressure to get out even though we still had more than a full day left, so our last day was not too enjoyable

Perfect place on the beach

The house was exactly what we were looking for - a nice house on the beach, with space for all our 6 person family. We were able to walk out onto the beach, the house was appointed nicely, beds very comfy, and there were plenty of helpful supplies left for us to use (beach toys, towels, coffee filters, etc) When I booked our stay, I messed up and made it for one night too few. They helped me to fix it easily and quickly once I realized what I’d done. Very highly recommend here and will stay here again when we return.
