  • Il nido del pappagallo è uno dei cottage Old-Sanibel situato nella tranquilla East End dell'isola. Dal 1955, i nostri affascinanti cottage accolgono i visitatori e fino ai primi anni '60 venivano portati sulle nostre coste dalla terraferma con il traghetto.
    I nostri cottage sono stati recentemente rinnovati in un arredamento costiero che offre comfort epico, relax in una bellissima stanza. Siamo a pochi passi dallo storico faro di Sanibel e dal molo di pesca, bellissime spiagge sgusciate, negozi e ristoranti.
    Se lo desideri, usa le nostre biciclette gratuite ed esplora chilometri di sentieri che coprono l'isola e conducono a rifugi per la fauna selvatica, luoghi per kayak, spiagge appartate e serpeggiando tra più ristoranti, negozi e gallerie. Il cottage Macaw è un'incantevole camera con un letto matrimoniale e un nuovo divano letto (gemello).

Cozy Cottage Getaway!

Location was excellent! Close to beaches and some really good restaurants. I recommend the Mudbug the food was awesome and large pirtions.

Everything you need

Great location! Loved access to beach chairs, towels and bikes. Cute rental that has everything you need. Beach is walking distance. Wickies restaurant across the street is amazing!

We loved our stay. Cute and clean, perfect for a mother/daughter get away. We loved the bikes and how close we were to the beach. Just watch out for the no see ums!!!

Perfect Getaway

WE so needed a short break. The cottage was perfect. Bed was so very comfortable. Got lots of shells. Enjoyed the food at Wickey's. Had not be there in 30 yrs. We will be back.

Our shower had black mold. Believe me I have pictures. I cleaned it myself with bleach. I requested a reimbursement for the cleaning but didn't get one. They did send some one to clean after I had done it! We had stayed there before and came back. We won't be back again though.

Great Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Macaw cottage, free bikes to use and the Lighthouse Beach is just a short bike ride away, we shelled everyday and the cottage was large enough for 3 of us easily , wonderful shopping area in the same block, some of the best on Sanibel Island. We will be staying here again !!

Great short getaway

Cute room that had everything we needed. Bikes and beach wagons were a nice addition. Close to lighthouse with good restaurant and ice cream shop across the street. The only negative was that the hot water ran out quickly during showers. Nice to see Sanibel rebounding from the hurricanes.

Perfect Location & Charming Cottage

My sons (7 and 14) and I were looking for a place to visit in Sanibel knowing that many of the gulf-side locations were under construction and chose to try the Parrots Nest Cottages. I was pleasantly surprised at this fantastic location that was walkable to the beach and had everything we needed to relax for a few days over Thanksgiving break. The kitchen had what we needed and having bikes and beach wagons and chairs was a great convenience. This was an adorable property and just right for the 3 of us.

Ideal location

Our first time to Sanibel and we loved it. Our little cottage was wonderful. Ideal location to ride bikes to the beach and lighthouse. We would absolutely return and stay there. Only 1 thing would make it a little better, since there’s no sink in the kitchen area a small dish pan would make cleaning the dishes a little more sanitary. Great place!!

We had stayed at this location before, however, it was a different unit. This particular unit can use more counter space. That would be my only complaint. Of course an addition of a pool would be great!

The cottage was clean and comfortable. Some hooks to hang towels on would be nice. Also the hoses in the front yard could have been neatly coiled instead of being allbover the yard. We did appreciate the accomodation of an earlier check in. Thank you!IT

Our stay was quite enjoyable got to use a golf cart to get around the island easier. The only disappointment was not being able to get on the beach without paying by credit card, last time I did that my card was hacked almost immediately So we didn't get to spend any time on the beaches. That was the only disappointment. Great restaurant right next door though. Hope to return at another time.Thank you,

Excellent for a short stay

I may have missed it in the description of this cottage, but the “kitchen” was a small fridge and microwave. There was no sink other than the bathroom lavatory. The cottage worked for us for two days, but it would have been tough even to do breakfasts for a week.

These units are in a great location. Having complimentary bikes was the best. We didn’t have sheets for the daybed. I called breakaway to ask for them and did not ever get them. I sent the owner a question and they never responded

Perfect Cottage

Everything was great! Except for the no-see-ems that came out in the evenings. Those bitting little bugs are awful! Bring bug spray or buy some at one of the local shops. The people were friendly. The neighborhood was safe. The food was amazing. Our fav for breakfast was Lighthouse Cafe (especially the mimosas and eggs Benedict). For supper we loved Wickies, Tutti Pazzi and Doc Fords. We never tried Mudbugs, but it looked inviting. We just ran out of time. Doc Fords was the longest bike ride we took and it was very easy. Minimal hills and wide asphalt paths. The only shopping we did was at She Sells Seashells, which had cute local made gifts as well as some mass produced gifts and shells. Shelling at the beach was great too. Bring a container to get them home safely! I will be recommending Sanibel and this cottage to family and friends. Loved every minute of this trip!

The place was spotless and well located, with a good restaurant, an ice cream shop, and souvenir shops right on the corner. The bikes were in excellent condition, which was a great bonus. However, after the bike ride I would have loved to use a pool, but there wasn't one; I think I misread or misunderstood the agreement we signed before arrival. It turned out to be a general agreement covering all the properties the company manages, not just this one, so it mentioned amenities this place doesn't actually have. There's a coffee maker, but no coffee is provided (in every other Airbnb I've stayed at, coffee and tea were included). The kitchen is small, and the refrigerator wasn't cold enough (we didn't notice until the third day that the milk we'd bought had spoiled). We appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella (although the umbrella wasn't working well because a piece needed to function seemed to be missing, we were able to find a solution), but we would have appreciate also if there were racks to dry our clothes after coming back from the beach. One strange thing: I didn't feel any mosquitoes biting me outside, but during the night I couldn't sleep because my legs were so itchy. I don't want to believe there are bed bugs, but I think that mosquitoes got inside the apartment and bit me.

Quiet, restful location on a beautiful island, walking distance to the beach or an easy drive to Bowman’s or Captiva. Close by three restaurants, and fully equipped with a kitchenette. Tastefully decorated, new, and clean. I especially appreciated the full set of beach gear including parasol and folding chairs, and the bicycles for guests’ use. All you need for a peaceful and restful beach getaway.
