The Casita is situated within a five minute walk from upper village, a short two minute drive to lower village and Coast Village Road, the mountains, the uncrowded Butterfly and Miramar beaches and the beautiful city of Santa Barbara.

THE CASITA

I hope to welcome you to Montecito Casita Pequena! Upon arrival you will have a designated parking space in a portico circular driveway. When you enter the large unique garage door to the Casita you will be welcomed into a very spacious 500 square foot studio guesthouse with high ceilings that ensures the space feels large and spacious.

There is a chef's kitchen, full size bed, dinning table for four people and couch. Additionally a sliding barn door leads you into a bathroom and closet area. The bathroom includes a shower with amenities and a second entrance to a 265 square foot private patio that includes a separate table that accommodates four for outdoor dinning. In the summer enjoy the beautiful ocean breeze and in the colder winter months the Casita is heated.

Enjoy complimentary wifi which is perfect especially if you need to complete work from the unit. A tv is also available for streaming your favorite movies or tv shows to wind down after exploring Montecito.

Kitchen essentials are provided included, flatware, cookware, dishes, espresso machine, snacks and tea. During a warm morning it is lovely to enjoy your morning coffee or tea on your private patio.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests will have access to park their car in the portico circular driveway. The driveway is incredibly well lit. Guest check in instructions provide instructions for how to access the unit and check out on departure day although rest assured you will not want to leave!

As a guest you will have access to the entire Casita and private patio.

Owner lives in a separate home on the property and provides complete privacy for all guests although is happy to meet in person as well.

All guests will be able to enjoy what Montecito has to offer: sailing, walking or driving to local beaches, surfing, hiking, golf, kayaking, biking, trail running, The Santa Barbara Zoo, art galleries, dinning, wineries, shopping and botanical gardens. Plan day tips to: Los Olivos, Solvang, Santa Ynez, Ojai, Ventura County, The Channel Islands or Los Angeles.

Montecito is known for it's elegant laid back lifestyle surrounded by stunning nature. Dinning, shopping, hiking, biking are right out the doorstep of The Casita.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

The casita is heated in the winter and has separate bathroom heater.

No AC unit is provided although a fan is available upon request. During the summer months all of the windows open and provide a lovely ocean breeze.

Beach chairs, towels and umbrellas available upon request.

Pets approved on request. $100 pet fee per stay.

$100 cleaning fee per stay.

No parties per VRBO regulations.

Owner of the property pays a Transient Occupancy Tax to The County of Santa Barbara of 16% for stays less than 30 days.
