  • Benvenuti nella destinazione perfetta per le vacanze in famiglia! La nostra affascinante casa con 4 camere da letto e 2 bagni è GIUSTA sulla spiaggia. Non attraversare la strada o guidare per raggiungere la spiaggia. Puoi guardare i bambini che giocano nella sabbia mentre ti rilassi e giochi a carte dal mazzo. Siamo l'unica casa sulla striscia "Isola" con un ponte recintato. È la casa perfetta per una vacanza indimenticabile, ricongiungimento familiare o semplicemente una fuga oceanica! Le stesse famiglie visitano la nostra casa da oltre 10 anni e continuano a portare le generazioni future per una tradizione familiare davvero memorabile.

    Questa casa in stile greco degli anni '30 offre 4 ampie camere da letto tutte con vista sull'oceano, un accogliente caminetto per tenervi caldi durante la stagione invernale, un grande ponte di intrattenimento al piano inferiore e un ponte più intimo al piano superiore. Incluso è anche una lavatrice / asciugatrice, lavastoviglie, 2 televisori con lettori DVD e WIFI gratuito.

    Non facciamo pubblicità su Craigslist. Se vedi un annuncio per la nostra casa su Craigslist, è una truffa.

    Spiaggia del Rio del Mar: visualizza i delfini e le foche che nuotano su e giù per l'oceano durante le passeggiate sulla spiaggia. Porta il tuo binocolo per osservare le balene! Altre attività includono boogie boarding, surf, nuoto, bombardamenti e costruzione di castelli di sabbia. È il parco giochi perfetto per tutti!

Perfect View

Enjoyed our Thanksgiving break with daughter and family in a perfect location. The views of dolphins swimming by every day and beach access for the grands to play in the sand and frolicking in the water was excellent! House was cozy and clean and met our needs.

Yaya’s 60th Birthday!

We truly enjoyed the location - right on the beach. The pictures look like the place is just a bit bigger - we had 8 adults and 3 littles - and wish we had a bigger living area and kitchen. The rooms were perfect. And I would imagine during the summer you’re outside most of the time. We loved that we could step out the door and be within feet of the beach.

Gorgeous Getaway

The location of this property is spot on. Semi easy access to the beach. Privacy is awesome. Walking the boardwalk is easy and fun. Plenty of room inside the house. All the supplies were provided. The patio is the best on the block. The kitchen water pressure was. low but the showers worked fine.. Best part were the gray whales, birds migrating almost every day, seals swimming very close to the shoreline and the weather. Thank you for the memories that we made this week.

Wonderful spot for friends getaway!

The location and quaintness of the house was better than we expected. Definitely better in person! We visited for a girls getaway and had just the right amount of space to be together but not on top of each other. We enjoyed the expansive view from the living room and sitting on the deck watching the ocean. Great area for taking short or long walks. The kitchen is adequately equipped and we had enough storage space. Communication with the owner was easy and I received quick responses to my inquiries. We would definitely love to visit again!

Great Location and Wonderful Experience.

Because of a very large and unusual storm, the wifi did go down a couple of times. Other than what the storm caused, the visit was perfect. My 14 year old grandsons spent many hours exploring the beach and town. My 93 year old mother in law really enjoyed the view from the patio and a very enjoyable walk along the shoreline. My entire family left the home all saying that it was a great trip well worth the price. We highly recommend this property to antone wanting to spend time on the beach.

Right on the sand!

This was a wonderful property that had ample room for all seven of us. Parking was easier than expected and check-in went well. This delightful little property is right on the beach. The waves are just outside your front room windows and you are enveloped in the whole seaside experience. The property was pristine clean, and Jaleh was very responsive to any concerns we had. It’s unfortunate that the weather just wasn’t going to cooperate with us though, but Jaleh was very kind and accommodating and quickly responded by reimbursing us for a day lost to a dramatic storm. We definitely hope to return again.

Not worth the money

The place was shabby and tiny. Only the view was lovely but we were so close to the ocean that waves went over the deck to scare us. We made an emergency exit plan We were 7 and it was advertised for 8. Only 6 chairs around the dining table. Only 4 places to sit in living room which was on top of the dining table. No entry mats but lots of signs not to bring in sand. Lights flickered in liVIng room all thetime.

Amazing beach front location!

We had a lovely stay at this house. The location is amazing, our kids had so much fun playing on the beach. The house itself is comfortable. It has a beautiful deck. We did experience some issues with electrical outages, but the owner was very responsive (even on Christmas Eve), and someone came to fix it immediately.

Location can’t be beat!

We enjoyed every aspect of this house. The location is wonderful. The four of us had ample space to have private time. The primary bedroom downstairs is very nice and the bathroom is beautiful. My husband and I didn’t feel comfortable using this bathroom downstairs so had to go upstairs to use the one attached to our bedroom during the day. This house would be great for two couples with kids. We also enjoyed the neighborhood and the walking trail. You won’t be disappointed.

Right on the beach

This is perfect for a person with a health condition - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen are all on the first floor, and the sand is 10 steps from the sun deck. There are plenty of people walking on the public path between the deck and the sand - we enjoyed that. The owner was very helpful.

Perfect location

Great beach house with an amazing porch right on the beach. Stocked with beach chairs and sand toys. Even had a pack’n’play. Dishwasher as well as laundry we’re much appreciated. Worked out great for our group but notable that the 2 bathrooms are only accessible through 3 of the 4 bedrooms so guests or whoever gets the 4th room with the daybed are going through someone’s room to use it.

A PERFECT Staycation

We live 15 minutes south of this property, but it's a part of Santa Cruz that we rarely visit. To stay RIGHT ON THE BEACH with walking distance to great hikes, stores and restaurants, we truly felt like we were on vacation far from home! The convenience of the home and amenities that are included made it extra easy to bring very little and enjoy our stay much more! Jaleh was a pleasure to work with.

Great location and private deck

Our family had a wonderful time at the house, the location is great for the kids to get to the beach. We saw dolphins and seals most days right out the big window. Our kids loved the room with the bunk beds and having their own space upstairs. The beds were comfortable and the raised deck was nice and provided added privacy. It’s definitely one of the best outdoor spaces along the walking path!

Nice house on the beach, NO parking!

Great access to the beach, nice upper and lower decks for viewing the beach and ocean, and well supplied and stocked house. If you like your neighbors very close and people walking close by your windows, you will love this house.

An Absolutely Ideal Family Reunion Spot!!

We were a family group ranging in age from under two up to 81 and we ALL had a wonderful time here!! Being able to enjoy the sea views -- whales, dolphin, seals/sea lions and thousands of birds!! what an exciting time!! -- from inside, from the lovely porch and, of course, from the sand just outside the door!! We certainly hope to be back!!

Disappointed but happy

The location and view was wonderful. The house turned out to be smaller than the photos implied and with 8 adults and one disabled, it was not a good choice for us. A narrow and small galley kitchen made it impossible for our several cooks to operate together. The place is charming and would be good for a single family, just not for 4 couples.

Our family loved our stay at this beach house. We loved the deck, which is the only one on this strip of houses that is raised and railed off from the public walkway. Would highly recommend especially if you have small children that like to wander because they can.

Relaxing Beach House

This Rio Del Mar beach house was relaxing, charming, well stocked, and in a great location. We had a great time with our family enjoying breakfast at the dining table looking at the ocean and dinner on the patio deck that is basically on the sand besides the walkway in front. Although people walk the path in front of the home they were very friendly which we enjoyed or the others didn't even look toward the house at all which was good too. The owner was responsive and helpful when needed. The beds were all comfortable and dishes in the kitchen were fun for a beach house. We would definitely stay there again. The only tricky thing can be the parking because the street is basically first come first serve and many beach walkers or goers park there as well. We had to play musical parking a bit and I think summer could get more tricky. However, across the street from the house, there are three parking spots in the sand shoulder that no one seems to think they can't park there so it makes for good parking until you can snag a spot in front of the house again when people leave. It's doable. Also, Rio Cafe in the walking distance had great dinner meals and Pixie Deli is always a favorite. I hope you have a chance to stay at this vacation rental.

Great property, great location!

This house has such a great location with easy access to the beach and walking distance to some great restaurants and a little mini mart. Highly recommend Pixies for lunch and Cafe Rio for dinner (live music one of the nights, it was packed!). The kitchen was very clean, up to date, and well stocked. The fridge was also so clean, really nice. The outdoor shower was so helpful with our sandy feet and sand toys. Very comfortable and clean beds! I really loved the layout of the house, the kids took the upstairs and my husband and I took downstairs. Each level has a full bathroom so we could keep kids and adults separated. Also that upper level has a room with a TV that my 12 & 16 year old could hook their Xbox to, although the beach was so amazing they only used it late one night. Plenty of towels and each shower had shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers. The shower pressure was really light but I was grateful -5 of us took showers back to back and we didn’t run out of hot water! The house sits on a walking path which is really amazing, we were able to walk north and south each morning for a few miles of exercise. Just don’t be alarmed when you see people close and able to look inside the house! The best part was that I could be sitting on our deck and still watch the kids play on the beach/run from the waves/collect seashells/play wiffle ball. When we arrived both garbage and recycle bins were filled already, so we had to make due all week until Friday when the garbage trucks arrived (they showed up at 6:30 am so be sure to put the bins out Thursday night!). The washer and dryer and dishwasher worked great! Only things that could be improved - The living room doesn’t have enough comfortable seating for everyone to watch tv together (unless you use the dining table) and the couch is covered in stains. Easy things to deal with! Would absolutely recommend this property and would absolutely come back again!
