Bonitas Casita | Pet Friendly, Walk to Attractions

You’ll be totally immersed in the history and culture of the Desert Southwest when you make Bonitas Casita your vacation headquarters in Santa Fe. You can walk to the historic Santa Fe Plaza from Bonitas Casita – it’s just 3 blocks away! With traditional brick floors, thick-walled adobe architecture and a handsome kiva fireplace, Bonitas Casita brings historic Santa Fe to life for you and your guests. Best of all, your pets are welcome to join you!

As you approach Bonitas Casita you’ll see that a 100-year-old cedar coyote fence surrounds the property. From the moment you cross the threshold into the living room, you’ll be surrounded by the bright colors of a Mexican fiesta, interesting tapestries, comfortable colorful furniture and two fireplaces – one a kiva and one gas. There’s a satellite TV along with Wi-Fi that’s useful when you want to check out websites for area attractions. You’ll want to dine often at the incredible authentic Southwestern restaurants that are within walking distance of the casita. But, you also have a full kitchen within Bonitas Casita, a gas grill out back on the patio and a formal dining room with a Mexican Equipale dining set. It’s especially fun to dine out back on the patio where you have a partial view of the Sandie Mountains. After a day of exploring in Santa Fe, it’s fun to soak in the hot tub out back under the trees at Bonitas Casita. A good soak is so relaxing before bedtime. You’ll be glad to retire to one of the two large bedrooms in Bonitas Casita. Each features a king-size bed, ceiling fan and nightstands with reading lamps. The full bathroom with shower/tub combination finished in beautiful Mexican Talavera tile is located close to both bedrooms. For your convenience, you’ll find a stacked washer and dryer just off the kitchen.

Check in was easy & appreciated ample parking. However, there were ants in the kitchen which was challenging when we wanted to cook. Only remedy was Raid spray which is poisonous around food.Also only 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 women for 4 days. Ran out during trip. Also need more kitchen towels, only 1 thin towel available for 4 days.

Nice property in an outstanding location!

My husband and I and our adult daughter loved our stay at Bonitas Casita near the heart of Santa Fe. The condo was comfortable and convenient. A couple of items might have been in slight need of updating, ie the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms was not functioning and one blade seemed to be hanging by a thread. However the AC worked great so it wasn’t a problem. The place is a short, pleasant walk to the plaza and all of the wonderful restaurants, shops , galleries and bars of SFNM. That made it perfect for our needs. Our little dogie felt perfectly at home there as well. We would definitely stay again!!

Perfect Spot!

This rental was perfect for us. The location is so convenient to downtown and also close hiking. The house is comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. The hot tub is a huge bonus. And they allow pets. We'll be back.

Birthday trip to Santa Fe

Very cute with Santa Fe decorations and vibe. Kitchen not set up for preparing meals. No counter space for food prep and for handwashing of dishes - no dish washer. Limited utensils for cooking and dull, dull knives. No supplies to clean counters (used wet paper towels). Property is in an excellent location for walking access to central Santa Fe so we ate out. Probably not return. Thx

A Gem

We stayed for three nights at this great spot. So close to downtown Santa Fe and a perfect home base for day trips to Taos and the Jemez. The grill worked great for a home cooked meal and the rooms are all very comfortable. Thank you for hosting!

Perfect Santa Fe Stay!

This property is super cute with an EXCELLENT location. Great Santa Fe vibe. One caveat, visitors should be careful of low doorways and unexpected steps. This casita is best for people who prefer authentic over luxurious. We absolutely loved it!

Wonderful stay in Santa Fe

What a great time in Santa Fe! Great location, walkable to the Plaza within minutes. The house had everything I needed, and it was just so beautiful. Great beds, wonderful shower and tub and strong water pressure. I was in heaven. I am already planning a trip back with a friend for a big birthday celebration for both of us next year.

The location is quiet, perfect for walking to the plaza. The walls in the house need work. The living room front door and wall have damage. Toilet leaking (water on floor). Toilet seat should be changed out. I fixed shower head (Leaking). bedroom sinks drain very slow. Ants on kitchen counters. did not use hot tub.

Great artist bungalow near town square

I stayed at this location with my husband and toddler. The size was perfect for our needs and we really enjoyed the vibe. The kitchen was great to prepare meals, the living space gave us enough seating and we enjoyed the yard space. The beds were really comfortable. My husband is 6ft so some doorways he needed to be careful but it wasn't too bad. The hot tub was AMAZING and the area, despite being so close to town, was really quiet. Highly recommend.

Great base camp for Santa Fe exploration

The house was cozy with an authentic Santa Fe vibe. Comfortable furnishings, including the beds. Nice linens and towels. Well stocked kitchen. It was easy to explore old town, shops, restaurants, galleries and museums without ever getting in the car. The patio was a wonderful place to relax as well.

Great location

Great location to Ski Santa Fe and walking to downtown. House was clean. Beds were comfortable and love having the separate sinks in the bedrooms (with only one bathroom) - huge for a family with 3 girls! Cute traditional adobe home. Would def stay again.

Dreamy Adobe bungalow

Property management was a pleasure to work with. The property was clean organized very very Santa Fe. The authentic Adobe was fun, warm and cozy.. We had plenty of everything! Easy, quirky place

Bonitas Casita was perfect for our small family. The location was great and the home had the amenities we needed. The bathroom is tiny so be prepared for that, although there is a full shower/tub. Beds were comfortable and heat worked well. The listing implied there was a fence around the yard but there isn't, so we had to watch our dog when we let him out. We would consider staying there again on a future trip.
