Hummingbird House, 3BD/2BA Charmer, Firepit, Patio

Hummingbird House is a recent renovation of a historic 1950 Stamm house, with all the charms of traditional Santa Fe plus the amenities and comforts of a new house. You will find a fabulous 3 BR and 2 BA home with individual AC in each room, spacious living, and a large outdoor patio with fire pit. Located in the heart of Santa Fe's "mid-town", Hummingbird House is walking distance to restaurants, and is only a 7 minute drive to The Plaza.

This charming renovation offers visitors a taste of mid-century Santa Fe. With customizable heating and air system, fully-stocked kitchen with stainless appliances and granite countertops, two bathrooms (one full bath, one 3/4 bath with walk-in shower) and outdoor living space with two seating areas, fire pit and landscaping, you can have it all. With the exception of some vintage, artisanal pieces, furnishings are new as are all linens.

While the home is compact at just over 1,000 square feet, it is cozy and comfortable and outside spaces make it live larger. It is ideal for 4 adults and two children, but can accommodate up to 6 adults.

This child and pet-friendly property has a completely walled/enclosed backyard. Up to two pets are allowed, but guests must first message the owner for pre-approval.

Walk to restaurants like the historic Pantry restaurant, Jambo Café, Baskin Robbins, El Portrillo Mexican, Matisse Bakery, Wecks family restaurant and more. The new Santa Fe bike trail passes through the neighborhood three blocks away allowing you easy access to The Railyard, Downtown and the rest of the city. Within 2 minutes drive are vintage furniture stores, art galleries, the Broken Spoke bike shop, retail stores and a grocery store. Driving times to other area amenities:

During renovation, under a full moon, 4 hummingbirds hovered over a flowering bush in the front yard. It was a magical moment and the House earned the name "Hummingbird House".

The house is very well appointed from original artwork, bathroom toiletries, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, and an outdoor patio for our relaxation between our sightseeing. Honest Five Stars.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was my mom and I and our two best friends. We had plenty of room. Beds are great, bathrooms are great, and the cutest place to match the town. Our favorite thing about the rental was the back yard. I brought my small dog and he loved the back yard. Very comfortable and completely fenced in. Neighbors were welcoming and we loved the neighborhood. We walked over to the El Rey Court for coctails and that was our favorite night just staying in the neighborhood. The host was thoughtful and always replied quickly. Ten out of ten. Especially if you travel with your pet. You can be at the square in less than ten minutes. Just a few lights away from whole foods and the railyard was super close. We were able to go back and forth several times a day with no hassle.

Oasis in the City

The Hummingbird House was an ideal location for our family getaway to Santa Fe. We thoroughly enjoyed our quiet mornings and warm evenings on the patio. The home is cozy and welcoming and has everything you need for a long weekend away. It is close to everything and Victor provided some very helpful info about some of the favorite places in town. Victor was very responsive when we reached out and made us feel like his special guests.

Charming Santa Fe Home

There were four ladies in our group aged 66-90 to attend the Santa Fe Opera!This home was cozy, but spacious enough for us to enjoy being with each other or finding time alone on the huge back porch!Kitchen was well appointed…there wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t there.The back porch was a great place to read a book or take a nap after a morning on the Plaza!We were close enough to everything Santa Fe…we didn’t drive more than 15 minutes to get anywhere around town.You will enjoy your stay at this charming home!

Charming Home in Santa Fe

Comfy house with plenty of space

We all really enjoyed our stay here. It was too cold to use the back patio, but it looked really lovely. When I return to Santa Fe in warmer weather, I'll definitely check to see if this home is available. The neighborhood looked like it as up and coming, but we never felt unsafe, and restaurants and coffee shops were within easy walking distance.

Very comfortable home with nice amenities. Cute back patio with gas fireplace. Very easy check in process. The cleaning fee was a bit steep for a one night stay. We are clean people.

Great property, incredible host, check in fantastic

Starting from the first question I sent to host, every single question (no matter how trivial) was answered thoroughly and promptly. We stayed for 2 weeks and on first night when we arrived we had some minor issues and literally within hours everything had been fixed/addressed. Property is spotless and pictures are very accurate. Kitchen was great to work in and so wonderful having air con second week of stay. Maintenance person was so nice and even offered suggestions to what turned out to be one of our favorite places to eat about 2 minutes away! The outdoor area was a little loud on evenings only because of the road house is behind but with the provided bluetooth speaker we were able to block out most of it! Host provided an incredible digital handbook of property information including restaurant recommendations and descriptions. So nice having two bathrooms that have been remodeled recently along with wonderful washer and dryer to use! Wonderful artwork thru the house and the attention in remodeling to period details of house were done great. We loved how close everything was--20 minutes we were in national forest hiking, 15 minutes to wonderful Dale Ball Trails, grocery stores within 5-10 minutes. Loved being able to enjoy the two weeks with our dog, she loved the fenced in back yard. Great next door neighbor also! Host responded to text or emails so fast. This house had absolutely everything we needed and was so nice to have meals outside in landscaped yard.

Wonderful house with big outdoor area

This home worked out perfectly for us. The owner was very responsive. It was well-equipped, clean, lovely decor. The huge back patio was great for family gathering. It was safe for our little ones. And the location was great for lots of sites.

Wonderful!

Great location and well-appointed house. Enjoyed having coffee on the back patio in the mornings. Had a great vacation with family while I was in town for a conference. We didn’t need to do anything except bring ourselves and groceries! Host was very responsive and immediately addressed a very minor issue. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay

Loved the house entirely. It was the perfect size and comfortably decorated. The only problem was we couldn't stay longer. It covered all our needs. Great outside area too. Definitely want to come back.
