In addition to the main home, the property has a separate studio “Casita.” The Casita is not included with this rental and is used from time to time by the owner, his friends, or family. See the dates below for when the Casita will be in use. If the dates are not listed below, there will be no one else on the property during your stay.

Someone will be staying in the Casita on the following dates:
1. 12/26/26 through morning of 1/31/27

For a little more information on the setup: The Casita and the main house share a common “Entry Room” (similar to a mud room). The Entry Room is separate from both the main house and the Casita, with each residence having its own private entrance. From the Entry Room, there is a stairway leading up to the Casita and a front door leading into the main house.
The Casita was added above the living area of the original home, but it was constructed with approximately a two-foot gap between the original roof of the main home and the floor of the Casita. As a result, the two residences are separate structures with no meaningful noise transmission between them. The only time you would see someone staying in the Casita, if it is occupied during your stay (as listed in our Listing), would generally be in the parking area/driveway, on the entry patio, or in the Entry Room. And if you happen to get lucky and run into the owner, just ask him for a bottle of wine from his cellar — he’d be happy to share!
Regardless, please rest assured that you will have complete privacy and exclusive use of the original home and its exterior areas (aside from the shared driveway and entry areas) throughout your stay, even if the Casita is occupied while you are there.
