“Blue Gem motel was the perfect stay for us for our weekend event at Camp Kulaqua which was only a few minutes down the road. I was a lil hesitant since it was a “motel”. However the room was nicely decorated and spacious. The bed was a super comfy king bed. I travel a lot and was impressed with how comfortable I slept. The AC was nice and cold. “We stayed one night for Morgan Wallen. They were nice and let us check in early since we arrived early. Our room was decent and definitely recently renovated. But the floors, couch, chairs, end tables were all dirty. We ended up going to the store to get cleaning wipes and a small broom to clean the room up enough to be fairly comfortable. The sink and bathroom areas were all clean though. We didn’t use any amenities since it was for one night. Overall it was decent for a quick one night stay...

“There was no one there to get fresh towels or clean the room when we were out, without a do not disturb sign on the door. We had to wait until we were home to take a shower and also you had to flush the toilet twice to make it flush all the way”

“We booked this hotel for a concert in Gainesville. When we arrived, there was five couples standing outside waiting to register. All of us needed to get to the concert in order to find parking before got too late. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for one couple to be processed. The gentleman who worked there was very nice, but was working with extremely limited resources. I think he did the best he could, but the rooms were substandard, dirty, and we didn’t get our room till 1:30 in the morning....

“The Air B & B was amazing. The property and the A B & B was awesone, Clean, Quiet and very comfortable. Although some nights got a bit chilly and this property only had AC no heat. We managed just fine. We left it in perfect conditions according to the directions they wanted it left in. Thank you so much and we will be renting again. We also would recommend this to others. ”

“The place is very nice, clean and safe. We arrrived late and did fast check in, then short walk to the hotel room. The room was clean, good size, the bed very comfortable as well pillows. The room stayed quiete in the night even with room being close (you do not hear the noises). In the morning we enjoyed the good breakfast. My husband as well a worked out at thier gym. We are recommending this place”

“This property is completely unsanitary. As soon as you walk into the lobby, you’re met with old mattresses stacked against the wall and clutter everywhere. I was first assigned Room 117, and the moment I walked in, there was a strong musty odor. When I checked the bedsheets, they were filthy—covered in stains and small bugs. I returned to the front desk to request a different room, but the second one, Room 105, was even worse. There were dead roaches on the floor and in the shower, the mini...
