    Benvenuti a Sandy Oar, questa tradizionale casa sul lago ottiene una dose di raffinatezza rustica in questo affascinante cottage con alloggi per 14 nel Lake District. Le tonalità naturali di pino e legni sono ravvivate da accenti rossi per creare un'atmosfera di raffinata raffinatezza.

    Nella zona giorno, un divano componibile si affaccia su un elegante televisore a schermo piatto con lettore DVD.     Al piano superiore due camere da letto - una con un letto matrimoniale, l'altra con due set di letti a castello gemelli integrati e comprende un ampio armadio con scaffalature integrate. Entrambe le camere sono arredate con televisori e DVD. Condividono un bagno in corridoio con una cabina doccia e una vanità singola, che confina con la camera da letto matrimoniale.

    La carrozza recentemente completata ha 4 posti letto con un letto matrimoniale nel master, un letto matrimoniale, una cucina efficiente e un parcheggio coperto. Portici generosi e posti a sedere all'aperto invitano a conversare tranquillamente e la buca per il fuoco all'aperto fornirà splendidi ricordi di famiglia delle ultime serate accanto al fuoco. L'area ricreativa della comunità, tra cui The Frog Pool, è a solo un isolato di distanza.

Excellent place to stay in the heart of watercolor. Very quiet area where it felt like we were by ourselves sometimes away from the crowds of 30A. Definitely would come back and stay.

It was mediocre

We rented for a family Christmas vacation. When we arrived the house had some trouble getting into the property and some cleanliness issues. The property management was very responsive and helpful. Overall the property was a little run down. The dishes and utensils in the kitchen were sparse and some of them broken. We even replaced some. Overall not a bad location or property just could use a little bit of love and care.

We always stay at the Sandy Oar when we visit Watercolor. The house is in a perfect location to enjoy all the amenities of Watercolor and the beach. The house is thoughtfully decorated, clean (even the grill), comfortable, well maintained with a fully stocked kitchen. Our kids loved the cute bunk room. The furniture, especially the round dining table, make quality time with family and friends easy. We will visit the Sandy Oar again!

The Sandy Oar and Watercolor community was just perfect for our family. The house was great, new grill was used a lot, the convenience of the pools, beach and having the bikes made it all so much fun. We would definitely stay again!! The bed in the carriage house could use a new mattress. That is the only thing that did not meet 5 stars.

The house interior was dated and a bit tired. I requested replacement light bulbs three times due to lights out. No replacements ever arrived. The house exterior was moldy and there was a lot of rotten wood all around. Some had been fixed in a slap-dash fashion and looked junky. Several pieces of wood disconnected from the stair due to rot. The trip was fun. The house was sub par. I would not book it again and based on my experience w the rental company and never getting replacement bulbs, I think I would seek a different rental company, too.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was not cleaned properly - we arrived to an oven with remnants of chocolate chip cookies all over the grates (which we had to clean), crumbs on the couch, an outdoor shower full of used towels, partially used bar of soap and bottle of shampoo. Also, the toilet in the master bedroom didn’t work.

Overall this was a nice property, ideally located in Watercolor. Improvements could be made by servicing the oven as it didn’t heat above 300; and by replacing the outside grill. The bottoms is rusted out, causing grease to hit the ground. The unit needs a good cleaning as well but the majority of it is rusted. I also felt as though the kitchen could have had more cutting boards and cooking utensils. I would stay here again, I will just be more appropriately prepared.

The house is well appointed and location is perfect for a day at the Watetcolor Beach Club or Camp Watercolor. We rode bikes and took lots of walks. Oversee service is EXCELLENT! We had a minor appliance issue that was quickly resolved and when we requested 1 additional nights stay beach club passes and extended stay parking passes we left on our doorstep within hours of our request. Will definitely return!

Wonderful

The VRBO was so cute and clean. Everything was as described in the listing. The area was great. Close to the local store and restaurants. The walk to the beach was a little long but manageable... perfect for a bike ride there. The bikes were such a fun activity for everyone. Overall 5-stars. Will book again in the future.

Loved the high ceilings in the living area and the large round table for meals and game nights. The kids loved the carriage house! Our only suggestion is to stock the kitchen with more dishes, glasses, cookware, and utensils. During COVID-19 restrictions we cooked and ate in more than we usually do when visiting 30A. Having additional kitchenware items would have made this more convenient. Otherwise, this is a gorgeous home in a super location (it's a straight bike ride to the beach!)
