The kitchen, with its modern and functional design, is ideal for preparing all daily meals. In addition to basic crockery and utensils, the kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, hob and a charming peninsula, perfect for sharing meals as a family.

The inviting balcony allows you to easily gather the family outdoors to enjoy the natural light and the tranquillity of the surroundings and the sounds of nature throughout the day. The entire property invites a genuine rural experience: in the day-to-day life of the farm you can spot and interact with animals such as cows and chickens, as well as the energetic and curious family dog. Farm life also comes with certain smells — some pleasant and fresh, others less so — and the sounds of animals are also present daily, so please bear this in mind.

The three bedrooms are harmoniously decorated to ensure peaceful nights. Two of these rooms are equipped with comfortable double beds and the third bedroom is equally welcoming, featuring two practical single beds.

The bathroom has all the amenities, including towels and toiletries for your convenience.

For your total convenience, the property has outdoor parking, located right next to the house.

This is also a dream retreat for hiking enthusiasts, being a stone's throw from the Queimadas Forest Park, the magical gateway to the Laurisilva forest (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the spectacular Levada do Caldeirão Verde.

Just 5 minutes away by car, you'll also find Faial Beach, a supervised beach with excellent access and a beachfront bar and restaurant - perfect for enjoying a relaxing day by the sea. Nearby is the Miradouro do Guindaste, a renowned viewpoint for its breathtaking sunrise views and spectacular photo opportunities overlooking the dramatic cliffs of the island's north coast.

Despite being in this authentic oasis of tranquillity, your connection to the vibrant centre of Funchal is very accessible and incredibly scenic. On a beautiful car journey of approximately 40 minutes, you will quickly descend to the sunny Madeiran capital. This proximity allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds: the absolute peace and quiet of your 'home' on the north coast and the cosmopolitan life of Funchal, where you can taste exotic flavours at the Mercado dos Lavradores, stroll through the alleyways of the Old Town, ride the cable car to Monte or savour a poncha at the marina, comfortably returning to your retreat at the end of the day.

Beyond the capital, this address serves as an excellent strategic base from which to explore the island's greatest natural wonders. Heading down the ER103 road, you will quickly reach Ribeiro Frio, famous for its trout hatcheries and the unmissable Balcões viewpoint. You also have easy access to the island's highest peaks, being a short journey from the dramatic landscapes of Pico do Arieiro (the perfect spot for an unforgettable sunrise). If you prefer a sea breeze, the charming fishing village of Porto da Cruz — famous for its black sand beaches, surfing and the historic Companhia dos Engenhos do Norte — is just around the corner. The property is easily accessible by car, which is the most recommended mode of transport in Madeira.

Madeira International Airport – Cristiano Ronaldo (FNC) is approximately 20 to 25 minutes away by car. Taxis and private transfers are readily available in the area.

This property has a self check-in system, and you will be asked to verify your identity before checking in. Check-in is available from 3 pm, subject to availability and confirmation.

Once the booking is confirmed, guests are required to complete a registration form, in accordance with the legal obligations stipulated by the local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy regarding smoking on the property. If our team finds evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g. smell of smoke, ash, cigarette butts), we reserve the right to charge a minimum fee of €200 for smoking.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair usage policy for utilities with a limit of €80 will apply.

On the first days, we provide basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, washing-up products and a bin bag.

Extra keys: €20 (extra set of keys when available, lost keys or door-opening service during the stay).
Extra cleaning with bed linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra linen: €30 (Towels and sheets for 2 people, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
